8:00 Fascinating dynamics of Robotic and Human motion. This guy knows his stuff!! (Bernt / 1X Robotics.) 15:30 Management Theory is well engineered individual capability and flat structure. It's interesting - I actually feel like they've designed a Continuously Emergent Functional Brain by virtue of its 'Measured and Enforced' open structure. "Fascinating." I've long seen this fail because of management layers hiding the play/ball. I'd like to hear a discussion of this vis-a-vis academics. SUPER! But what happens to a company like this in a Venture world? It is a different focus. 29:00 'Calls for UUNIS' specifically as AN INDIVIDUAL ROBOT'S SELF-ACQUIRED (or self-taught) "GENERAL WORLD MODEL" - a term heretofore only rarely used and always with respect to advanced Human Self-development. Hey Varun i have a question for you , The thing is i love making things , and after passing my school i had to choose a career path . I went. For the classical safest option in India which is to be an engineer . But with one slight change - i didnt choose cse , but instead of that i chose electrical and electronics . I know how to code but the thing is it doesn’t excites me nor i want to do it . I want to experiment like do a bunch of. Crazy things from making drones to making open source apps . But tell me , is it the right thing to do ,Anyone is welcome to share their opinion
my 2 cents, building hardware is going to require capital - if you can afford to experiment and build stuff - nothing like it! the world is in dire need of better hardware builders as every highschool grad swarms onto CSE while AGI is gonna automate most of it soon. but if the above option sounds expensive, software is YOUR leverage to build capital. learn to code, it's never been a better time to learn, with the help of AI tools. get a gpt or claude (or better yet perplexity gives u access to both) subscription and learn to build great and *USEFUL* software and make money to help you experiment with hardware on the side.
It’s easier to build with software, but as others have said, if you want to build with hardware then you’ll need some capital, depending on the scale of the project. It could be your own money, but if it’s going to be something truly massive or technically-complex then it might require fundraising, which is its whole own beast of skills and competencies, aside from the technical talent you need to display to show investors you match founder-product-market fit
Past was hardware present is software and future is going to be software + hardware. And gradient descent algorithms are going to be way better/cost-effective at creating softwares. And ultimately hardware. So ultimately it's always a good decision to do what you love doing.
But will they implement UBI before 2030!? Many pioneers including billionaires, scientists, Nobel Prize winners, engineers, architects, analysts and so on and so forth... almost all agree that we will have AGI in 2027 and ASI in 2029 and looking at and evaluating the exponential technological acceleration curve I wonder why they have not yet implemented universal basic income to anticipate the trends that will come. Just to name one, Elon Musk says that we will have AGI already in 2025 and ASI 2029.
Very interesting approach to go straight into domestic. It's true that reality scales by reality. I would have thought that factory bots would be the aim because there's an immediate market. It seems like the autonomous vehicle problem, some use lidar which can only get you so far, video is much harder, but it can be scaled better in the long run. Tesla may even be going for both strategies. As they can have their robots in their own factories, and by the sound of it are trying to make hardware with tendons like Neo, Musk also spoke about selling the robots, perhaps domestically.
how long until 100% safe level 5 autonomous driving! and what level of autonomous driving are we at now? Has Tesla reached an advanced level 3? or are these shades of a level 4? (I mean the beginning)
❤ 50:03 ❤ I'm deeply moved, and my emotions are overwhelming. I love this so much that it brings me to tears 😭. It's so close to the conclusion I've reached through my own analysis-this is exactly what everyone desires. If it's truly possible, I would do anything to achieve it. The harsh reality is often depressing, and my conclusion is that only AGI/ASI can fix everything. While my analysis was purely rational, it was fueled by my emotions. My emotions are what drive me to embrace rational decisions.❤
I might be wrong and a bit emotional, but people who share my perspective are incredibly rare. That's why I became so emotional here-please don't judge me harshly. My thoughts run deep, but I haven't written them out like a professional; they're just in my mind. If you need clarification, feel free to ask questions. My English isn't perfect, so I often rely on ChatGPT for corrections. If my comment comes across as odd, please overlook it-the substance of the topic matters more than how it's communicated. I suppose I might seem insecure, or maybe I'm just ready for anything.
Pro here, but noob not long ago. Find out what you love most about robots - software, hardware or electronics. If you love hardware most (like material properties, manufacturing, etc., study Mechanical Engineering with some coding electives). If you’re most passionate about electronics, consider Electrical Engineering. If you like a combo of the two, consider Mechatronics. If you love software too, consider Robotics. Be aware that Robotics degrees are very software heavy - some of them don’t even have much hardware focus. Mechatronics may be the best mix of hardware, electronics and software, but it really depends on the school/university.

Yeah that's what I think I am also interested in Hardware development but currently lacks capital.

Thanks Varun for bringing the quality content ...!!
You promised to bring more videos on UNIVERSAL BASIC INCOME
When are we going to see NEO?
first video today
@@okklidokkli Yeah, wow, I just saw it. 👍
This was such extremely insightful!

The large volume increase during the first ad hurt.

Jesse eisenberg’s next movie role
Thanks
Hey varun, can you please make a video on why hardware revolution is coming sooner than we think
Many of us want to know this
also bring the founder of unbox robotics
As a plumber, could i film my everyday work with a body camera and sell that data later to train a robot like this one?
