God Santa Monica just crushes it with rewarding fans. Not only is everything available to earn in game, but there so much new stuff all without it costing extra money. One of the few companies I am more than happy to shell out for.
yes which is why one of my chaos flames is bugged out despite me 100%ing all realms, and in ng+ they replaced the first chaos flame with a fucking gale flame for no reason at all. great at rewarding fans lmao

Then there is assassins creed valhallas amazingly detailed cardboard cloak that eivor purchased from the nearby stationary store. Comes with exactly three animations and a cardboard mode when riding on a horse
The bear cloak is one of those things that so many people wanted, yet could have easily been something’s the devs wouldn’t give a single shit about. But they did. And MAN, was it the right call. I don’t think they even realize how many points they’ve scored with the fans for that one! :)

The ability to skip the cut scenes is something I didn't notice at first. I had been trained at that point to not even bother trying after half a dozen play throughs.
Part of me wants to jump back in, but the other part of me doesn't want to learn all the combos and stuff again, they took too long to release this IMO. Getting old sucks
It took them so long to release this because they straight up made a whole DLC. This is why I love Santa Monica Studios, all they had to do was make a new game plus mode but they wanted to give us more gameplay options and more fun just for all of us players. tl;dr Santa Monica is great and we all love them.
If only activision listened to the fan base like Santa Monica and we wouldn’t have any problems with COD but this is why GOW is so good bc the devs actually care about the people
This is how New Game Plus should be done, the only problem is the puzzles. They're already a slog on the first playthrough, nevermind the second. It would be great if there was an option to keep the puzzle areas as you left them in the first playthrough, so that any areas you've unlocked by solving the puzzle remain unlocked but still have the combat encounters and unopened chests for you to open with no hassle. Of course story critical areas would have to remain locked to prevent premature progress, but there's so much that could be done to make New Game Plus more combat-focused and better paced.
@@havi8-0-9 completely up to u, playing on ng+ will let u keep all of your end game equipment which, depending on the difficulty, will make the game much more easier. but i played this on release wen ng+ wasnt even an option. So again, play how u think youll enjoy the game. this game is a master piece after all
If you beat King Hrolf Kraki in NG+ You will get a item called " Flawless Berserker" set and NO its not a armor it is a *appearance* and you dont get a primal flame from it

unfortunately we never got it the first time around but you know what the fact they found a way to keep the cloak, sure it interferes with the blades appearance a bit basically saying to us all this is why we took it away but if you really want it, it's not an option for you is just amazing. i didnt expect that going in i just expected new game plus and keeping equipment i was floored with excitement when i got to the part where he resuces atrues on the sled and he still had it i was like wahhhhhhh then i had to come check out some videos and now there is even different types of cloaks too. Holy awesome.
I'm so glad I platinum trophied this game before release. I am also very excited to replay the game on new game plus all over again to 100% with the Sparta challenge armor set.
Did you notice if you upgrade your weapons in new game plus you can no longer change the look of your weapons? I noticed and am really annoyed.. because I really liked changing my weapons so they'd be colour coordinated with the armour set worn.
Wow Santa Monica have failed big time. It’s taken them almost 6 months to add new game plus and only added in a couple new armours they just reskins the Aires armour and Zeus armour from GOW 2018 what a let down

After 120 hours and beating the game , I encountered a game breaking bug that had me stuck in the pit with 2 dreki and the o button would not appear and it would keep respawning the bosses after beating them , I could find no way around this as all my saves were at this spot of the game , so I’m am looking forward to starting over and going through it all over again , at least there have been so new added things that will make my experience great again ! The sad thing is I looked online and couldn’t find not one person that had the same game breaking bug that I had , I tried everything even uninstalling and reinstalling , nothing worked , so I am curious if any other player had the same game glitch that I had that would not go away ! I was very upset at all those hours I wasted , but it’s not the first time I started games over completely after encountering a game glitch ! If anyone had the same problem , let me know as I have been curious to find someone who had the same game breaking glitch I had !
I am so glad that how hard they overhauled the Ng+ i recently finished my 100% playthrough and am currently downloading it again for another playthrough on the hardest difficulty
Gonna go ahead and say that the Black Bear armor is the best looking piece of armor for this game. I'm really liking the fact that they actually listened to the fanbase.
A little detail I found last night when I started ng+ is when u go out to find Atreus I went back into the house, and where kratos stores his axe and blades, I noticed that the blades were still there even tho I had them on me, the only difference is there level one my blades were level 8
An already overly complicated upgrade system, seems to have become even more complicated. The 2018 menu system was much simpler to understand, wish they’d gone back to that
@@mysterious___1 the enchantments and perks, what they do and how they activate are not explained properly. The enchantment/amulet system in the first game was simpler and better organized. These things are subjective, but many people had similar issues with this game. The way armors and your characters are upgraded was just so much easier to do in 2018.
@@neill3040 upgrading your stuff is much easier in Ragnarok. Activating your enchantments and perks is explained. If I have seen people complaining about this I don’t remember. It must be very few people.

This game is so amazing, and I love all the new stuff they added for NG+! I still want to do a second play-through without all the extra gear, before going to NG+. I did the same with GOW2018.
I have one save file with 100% completion literally the only thing I haven’t done is upgrade all the armor but I have millions of hacksilver and tons of mats jumping into ng+ tonight
My only critique I have for this update is those gold bits on the cloaked armour, I wish they were red instead. But it's still definitely the best looking armour in the game.

Spartan Bare Torso armor is fucking legendary looking. Finally an armor fit for the God Of War
The only way to make it better is putting every side boss in the arena to beat over and over without starting the game over but they did great things

New game plus for some reason won’t let me do anything on the Home Screen so I can’t access a save file to start the game
