The coolest part of the Breath of Thamur runic attack is that the hits are considered 'ranges hits', so it works awesome with range attack buffs and armor.

@@MangoJuce berserkers are still unfazed 90% of the time and will carry any attack no problem more other than not resulting in a game over because of an unblockable I couldn't dodge or a shield attack I couldn't interrupt cause my time runed out before the runic was over.

I just played/finished 2018 (4th time) after finishing GOWR, and it’s INSANE how nerfed runics are in this sequel. 2018 actually felt like the sequel with how refined and fun the combat is. GOWR changed things, and not in a good way imo.
so you literally want a combat system that rewards you for spamming attacks that require no skill. op runics made encounters and boss fights rinse and repeat hels touch and glaive storm. Sigrun was the worst example of this. This game allows you to rly develop ur sense of fighting style
I do think the combat in 2018 was more refined and more fun….plus the menu system wasn’t a complete nonsensical joke. Just my opinion, but 2018 was a better game in many respects
2018 combat felt like you are playing world of war craft or sth Ragnarok actually feels closer to what God of war is relying on your actual combat skill and reflexes and gameplaning
I loved the "Helios Flare" Light runic attack for the Blades Of Chaos because it was like those Street Fighter games where the have the "Hadouken" move which I think is a Street Fighter Reference in the game.

Fun fact: Kratos used to be able to spam attacks like Tartarus Rage and Rampage of the Furies, but now that he's older and weaker, he relies on runes with time limits to do them.
I literally beat the game, reached high percentages on the map completions (even 100% musplheim) yet I couldnt find another fucking light axe runic attack until recently. I kept that one you got from the first horse boss early on
You should show on the map where each are as I have no idea where the helios one is, for example.. and you breezed through the details and I've already done the mission
I don't know if it's just me but I can't get the upgraded Hades of retribution to work on big bosses. It just sticks them once even if you have it fully upgraded

In gow ragnarok is harder to get breath of thamur and meteor shower lol cuz i cant find all of the ravens hehe.. For gow 4 you only need to complete muspleheim trials

Kratos' movement during Atlas Eruption looks alot like his movement using the Efreet in Chains of Olympus. Neat.

Arkham knight made me search for all of riddler’s trophies… now GOW is gonna make me search for all the ravens
Compared to arkham knight, destroying all ravens is much more easier
atleast it just takes one(or a couple at max) axe throws, riddler trophies took longer and some were even tricky to get
I absolutely love how runics don't stunn by default and also leaving you completely open on any incoming attacks

You have three weapons in this game. Four runics were already broken in the last game, six of them with the same power would make anything a joke.

i think there is a pattern for the blades of chaos the bigger the explosion the more powerful the runic damage
