Excellent tutorial. I learned to select an area around the extra point. Because just as you showed sometimes it is a line or worse multiple points hiding there. I just wish I could stop double clicking my mouse at the wrong time. On my Mac sometimes it will crash the program when I double click. I am running on an old Mac and can't upgrade to 19.
Harry, on minute 25 you get problems with deleting a part of the vertical 20mm line. The problem is caused by the equality constraint of the two 20 mm lines. Deleting this constraint makes the cut away easy without problems.
Fine. Well investigated. Sometimes i also learn... I remember when i first created the object without recording , i must have done it in a slightly different way, having no issues . That was bringing the intention to use it as a beginner tutorial. In the recording the problem came up and i had to change my mind then.

You should post that question along with your freecad infos in the forum. I am sure you will soon get help there.
