But it took me three years of volunteering, 35 shows, applying for 200 different jobs which I only got interviews for 15, working as build crew, assistant stage manager, working backstage as a stage hand, stage manager, build crew lead, sound/light board operator, sound designer/engineer, light designer, all the while building the ever important resume and networking and working full time.

I grew up with Simple Plan.. back in the early 2000s with Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit, Blink and the list goes on. This song has that same vibe music had back then, I don't know how to describe it exactly. It's cool to see bands from back then still making music and staying close to their roots.
Blink 182 still does that they have matured, fuck it theyre in there 40's now but still stick to there roots. That actually how artists stand the test of time.

I remember listening to SP songs at the bus stop on my new Ipod shuffle in middle school. For over half my life, this band has helped me in many, many times of sadness, and, on the other side things..... determination. Everyone has that band that changed their life and will forever. Simple Plan has been that band for me! My first time seeing them live was like a cosmic shift in my life! It was a chain reaction that led to incredible things. Simple Plan is and always will be my favorite band!
Simple Plan they know what we feel deep inside by making this kind of songs, and when we heard about it, we feel much more alive and run for another day..
I once said screw an ordinary life, I wanna have fun.... so I gathered some friends and we, had a water gun fight at Wal-Mart until we were kicked out (I'm actually banned) I regret nothing. c:

Simple plan is the perfect example of a band that grew up with their audience. When i was an angsty teenager, they had songs about that. Now that I'm a working stiff caught in the mundane day to day, they have songs i can still relate to. That to me is damn impressive

some of their songs are whiny, but there's fire in their music as a whole...I mean yeah, Pierre sometimes sings about how unfair is the world to him, but imo, their message is something like that: "you know what? They're not nice to me, but at the end of the day they are never bringing me down, I'm gonna show them, I'm gonna burn them with my fire and change things " and that's what I like about that band. Haters can hate all they want.
They're not whiny. If they're whiny, all they'd do is complain without finding a way to solve their problems. Their songs are about telling the haters to screw off, and they will live their lives however they want
