Those aren't miss spots, it was purposely done that way. They did it like a shadowing affect. Check out the Classic firearms video with Adam from Canik, they explain the cerakoting.

And yes as pointed out by the previous poster….the slide is finished with a burnt bronze cerakote finish. Then a black oxide finish was applied to the cuts to provide a shadowing effect.

Good shooting. Canik confirmed that the 507, 407, vortex optics does not fit because they only have screws provided that doesn’t fit so you have to buy a separate t10 screw and different length t20 just in case. If your gun wiggles it’s because you need rear studs flushed on there or the screws are not long enough. Too long night cause your gun to malfunction. Shadow system also had that problem the screws had to be of perfect length.

Hey there. This was a pretty decent review. Thanks for posting. Maybe you can grow more from a couple of things... In your first part inside and after coming back from the range, you used "um and um and um" over and over. Maybe you felt nervous or didn't plan what you'd be saying? Outside seemed so much more normal. You seemed relaxed and like you knew what you wanted to say. Also, in my opinion, if you are doing review videos you should definitely get a Lyman trigger pull gauge. They are not expensive and would seem much more reputable. LASTLY, I think it would have been great for everyone if you just quickly swapped the recoil spring after the first 100 rounds, then you could have talked about the reliability change (if any) and the feel, because I'm definitely still curious about that. I hope you accept this as positive criticism that can help you grow. Great job putting the video together. Thanks for providing this material for the community.

Interesting, because I would never think a company like CCI would ever make ammo that wasn’t able to be used for all applications. Thank you for sharing and I hope you stay in contact! Until next time and thank you for watching!

lol no I was very impressed with the gun after I shot it at the range! I love that I can co-witness a full-size red dot with out having to buy the taller iron sights. I will carry this gun a lot with how much I enjoyed shooting it! Until next time and thank you for watching!

Interesting how long have you had the gun? How many rounds have you shot through it? When did you start having the FTF issues? Thank you for posting!

@@pewpewswithmr.x I literally put around 860 rounds thru it over the weekend.... No issues aside from having to switch the guide rod to have the slide lock back on 147gr.

I take it you don’t actually own one? You own a gun with a comp? Or a ported barrel? They both help and you are right they make the gun louder, but the TTI design is better then both my comped shadow system/ custom ported Glock clone build I did.

Yeah they did that paint job on purpose because Taryn wanted it to be more pronounced ridges so it's not cerakoted there to give it a shadow look
