Yes to more clothes talk, I always enjoyed y’alls deviations from just watch talk into style in general. And also, if you liked the Ploprof I’d love to see your ideas on the Seiko Tuna. Another iconic diving watch that’s actually more wearable than you think. Keep up the good work y’all.
Just for info regarding the Ploprof: you don't have to push the orange button in order to unscrew the watch. The pusher is only needed in case you want to turn the bezel :).
The Omega Seamaster 007 NTTD is stunning timepiece. You will really appreciate it by holding it in your hand. The dial is absolutely perfect. It’s also nice on the NATO strap.
I got this not because of the Bond connection. It's a different Omega seamaster albeit a higher price point. Does the different design and material justify the price? Each to their own. For me it did and I love the watch. 1) No date 2) leight weight 3) vintage feel. You may not like it for the exact points given. The bracelet clasp creates a gap for small wrists (I'm 6.25), and legibility is bit on the darker side. But the overall package is very good. The Bond association is minimal this time except for the arrow mark at 6 o'clock. Unless explained most people wouldnt know what it is anyways. This will never leave my collection.
I don’t know why I want to not like your shows, but I’ve come to realize you guys are just great together. Keep it up and I look forward to future videos!
My son and I tried on the NTTD Bond watch at my local AD and it is quite a nice piece of kit. The value proposition is not quite as nice - $4k more than a standard 300M and you lose the ceramic dial, ceramic bezel and the display caseback.
Your comment speaks my mind too, we pay almost double vs a normal seamaster 300, lose the transparent case back, lose the ceramic bezel. Plus the mesh bracelet is not for anyone with small wrist , it is not flexible enough and with the folding clasp , there will be a huge chunk of metal and affects the fit and comfort. Omega BT said there are shorter strap option for this mesh bracket but you will need to extra pay and order and need an extra 1500 usd
The traditional Seamaster bracelet is in many ways more of a classic than the watch itself, shame to lose it also. There is a version with rose gold accents that might look good with this too.
Yes bring back Off Topic!!!! Talk about clothes again. Christian has such a unique style, combined with his storytelling, Theo and Harris has massive potential to further position themselves as a lifestyle company. Could be so much bigger than just watches!
PEEK isn’t a Panerai-branded acronym, PEEK is just Polyether ether ketone, and it refers to the resin that binds the carbon fibers together. Fun fact (if you’re a nerd-if you’re not a nerd then it’s just a fact, I suppose).
The old Ploproof's are a pain in the ass to service, you have to take everything out from the front side. And there is usually all kind of weird sealants that previous watchmakers have used... But they are really interesting and cool watches!
I also got a French chore coat when I was in Paris a couple weeks ago, from a great shop in the 2nd Arrondissement called The Coolest Man You Know. Highly Recommend.
Dude you guys could definitely talk about clothing and style it fits the show and the ambulances of the brand you guys are creating, plus Christian you kind of something of that nature going when you did a spring collection or when you spoke with Belgiun loafers...regardless I love your show
I just prefer they didn't add the Bond markers on the watch. It's fine for James Bond but not me. I like when he wore a unchanged watch like the Submariner and Planet ocean
Wish I wasn’t currently house poor so I could hit the Americana this weekend without fear of impulse buying something I can’t afford. Love that boutique tho and it’s right around the corner.
I don't think they are going to cast a now 49 year old Idris Elba to do Bond unless it's a one and done. Yes, Daniel Craig is now 53, but this is movie five and he was like 36, 37 when they casted him in the role.
@@ams914 Yeah, I agree that's what they've done a few times. Daniel Craig was already an excellent actor getting serious recognition before he was picked, but he was still a surprise and initially a very disliked pick. That is, until, you know, Casino Royale came out and most everyone tossed their doubts out the window. Should be interesting to see who they envision as the next Bond but I wouldn't want to follow in Craig's footsteps.
"FIRST THING YOU SAID, WAY OFF... VERY STUPID THOUGHT" lololololol- going to come to New York one day and purchase a vintage Datejust from you boys! Keep up the great work!
Yeah I think you guys should talk more about Clothes as well. It’s something that is directly related to watches and stile, and it express who you are, just like a watch does.
I find automotive/tuner watches to be generally poorly executed or tacky. While I like how the Panerai's spec'd here, I would hate having a watch with a large Brabus logo especially since I don't have a Brabus-tuned Mercedes in the garage to go with it.
awesome watch except for its bracelet failure. The titanium mesh bracelet sticks out to its side way too much. I almost purchased one until I tried it on and found its significant failure.
It would drive me crazy to wear a watch and not have the correct time. I don't mean it has to be perfect down to the second all day, though I do set whatever watch I am wearing for the day to the Atomic clock before strapping it on in the morning. If it was off by more than a minute, it would bother me. If it had a date window and the date was wrong, it would bother me.
I just get the feeling that it became too expensive to sell because of the use of titanium, so they didn’t develop an integrated bracelet, no display caseback, no ceramic bezel, and $4000 more that the 300m. Otherwise it would have priced it at $12-13k which would not have been saleable.
Gents - enjoyed as ever!! Love the bond watch!! I would make a GMT for the international spy!! And a tracker for if you misplace your watch in a box of cereal!!! 🤣👍
Agreed 👍 I'm fine with him wearing a un changed watch ⌚ but when they start adding markers. That is associated with Bond on the watch that's where I draw the line
My Biggest problem, with the "Bond Watch" is that Milanese Mesh - As I see It, as very Feminine, for this specific watch. Ironically, the "Shark's Tooth Mesh", on the 'Ploprof' would be so much better. For those, lucky enough to get one. Keep the Bracelet in It's Box; and soldier on, with an aftermarket Shark's Tooth ... Assuming, the Lug size is the same; eventually use the Ploprof Bracelet ... just sayin'. 😉
@@jacktyler5241 - Jack, It's NOT a put down, of the Watch or the Bracelet, for that matter ... Even Christian suggested, for a more Formal occasions He would change out the Bracelet, for a Strap. My view is; the Milanese, is by it's nature, dressy. Perhaps so Dressy, It's "elegant". (NOT Rugged - but the Opposite - hence the "word" - Feminine) While a Heavier Mesh Bracelet, seems more appropriate to me. I suggest, You wear what you like, without hesitation. ... Nothing more. Cheers !

Doesn’t it annoy you that they didn’t integrate the bracelet after developing those amazing titanium milanese links? It just seems half baked. And does that helium escape valve need to be quite so prominent? Seriously.
Yes, more clothing for sure. There was a T&H video a while back where Christian highlighted his favorite shirt, cigar and shoes. It would be cool to see you both do one, each pick a shirt, sunglasses, edc item, etc.
LOVE the NTTD Seamaster and im so excited to see the new movie tomorrow! Really wish I could afford this Seamaster, or any of them, but ill just hope they stick around for awhile
Not a good seller, why? No integrated bracelet and most of all, titanium is dull! I love the metal in some applications it makes watches look lacklustre.

Agreed!
I love setting my watch, specially if its an annual calendar i find great joy in that.
Nice l/s polo. Talk about clothes more pls! and the ending was golden
Shall I be the one that points out that Christian said Proplof and not Ploprof.
Poverino, it seemed like he had been practicing so much..

Michael's channel is pretty great on it's own, but combined with Christian talking about clothes? Do it yesterday.

Talk more about clothing & fashion! I love Christian’s fashion especially the video about fashion essentials.
The Ploprof was also introduced in 904L steel, now Rolex steel.
My heart yearns for this bond watch. But I’m building a house. I just hope there is one available with my AD in January/Feb.
