It's hard to understand what a brutal shock this was back in the day, what with modern superhard songs like Pluto Relinquish or PARANOiA Revolution making this look like a beginner stepchart, but at the time this was THE hardest thing anyone had ever seen. Those rapid stomping sequences were shocking and that final nonstop stream followed by one more brutal sequence of stomps would break your ankles. Easy by today's standards, but this was infamous back in the day.
I remember my sister first unlocking this song on her PS2 - we initially thought it was just a Paranoia-style song at 130 BPM, then we saw that the arrows (and the dancer) were moving double that speed and we were just blown away! Remember that this was before Max 300 and all of its sequels came out.
I would have loved to see tracks such as this one, wild rush, Perfect sphere mix, and the cube brought to the newer version of DDR, that would seriously rule!
@@Aaaaaaaa-ix4rp I’m looking at old and new charts and they seem to be the same. I feel like they meant in the way that back then THIS was the hard song of the franchise, cause i def feel that way when I revisit this song after playing the new ones
I believe at this era in DDR there were songs that were inching close to being "Boss Songs" but were never established to be so (unless your local arcade gave you Extra Stages). DROP OUT certainly was one of those songs, and oddly enough the steps for this ages well. Definitely something you'd be daring your arcade-mates to play against. It was disappointing when the K.O.G. mix came out flat.
A mi tambien en DDR me trae muchos recuerdos me acuerdo que la primera vez que saque esta en maniac me senti Jesus XD DDR para siempre , haha bueno ahora me dedico a la Pump it :D esta para mi mas cabrona

Maybe for a pro this would be easy

Yes, we all grow, as do our channels.
I remember owning ddr konamix and how fast this song was all I can say is...damn...

Good news: WILD RUSH and DROP OUT are available at newer DDR machines. Can't say the same for the other two.
@@DarkCartoon_music the cube was iidx crossover on 5th that got forgot and blue sphere is a 3rd party track
@@nate567987 Yeah, I miss THE CUBE. It was a banger
Before DDR 5th, this song was A LOT harder...

I thought I recognized that opening synth weirdness from somewhere!
@blaka123456 se llama stepmania
I always feel like the steps at the beginning were made like that as a compromise to the janky limitations of engine

I swear to god they removed a part of this song (0:22 to be exact doesn't have a instrument in it) in KONAMIX. It doesn't sound right anymore lmao
