LadyGenevieve It's supposed to be about patterns. Even though the order of the patterns are randomly generated, the actual patterns never change. It's completely possible, you just have to have really good reflexes.
Dylan Huang yes, I figured out that it's about patterns. so you are correct, your response time is use in identifying the pattern and moving accordingly. when you know the pattern you can "predict" what is coming before it comes. if you just wait for stuff to appear and try to react, there's not enough time/ so I did answer my first question "how is this possible", it's possible because people memorized it. I still maintain that it's not possible to do it by merely reacting to what is on screen. it's more about training your muscle memory, forcing you to learn to identify the particular layouts it throws at you and then executing the proper sequence of movements that you had to memorize as the response to the particular threat. you have to know in advance what is coming and move accordingly

joe bartholomeus Does Telekinesis count as input device?
uhmmm...yes
i think he just starres on the monitor, till the game gives up
The ending feels kinda sad 😞 and happy 😃 at the same time and this is why I really want to complete super hexagon super bad.
My records:
Hexagon - 433 sec
Hexagoner - 412 sec
Hexagonest - 291 sec
Hyper Hexagon - 818 sec (I playing this and last mode everytime)
Hyper Hexagoner - 215 sec
Hyper Hexagonest - 391 sec
Why is your score for hyper hexagoner the lowest?
Because i dont played it so much as hexagonest.

Okay, great!
Now try VVVVVV blindfolded!
The end of super hexagon is such a beautiful site if you played it.
КРАСАВА БРАТОК!!!!!
HOW DOES HE DO THAT. I get 40 seconds on the first level and I feel like a god
how is this even possible? you have to react before the things are even on the screen. your response must come first.
Actually, the things appear on screen BEFORE you respond.
Dylan Huang by the time things appear on screen, there is no longer enough time to respond, you have to be responding before they appear.
LadyGenevieve It's supposed to be about patterns. Even though the order of the patterns are randomly generated, the actual patterns never change. It's completely possible, you just have to have really good reflexes.
Dylan Huang yes, I figured out that it's about patterns. so you are correct, your response time is use in identifying the pattern and moving accordingly. when you know the pattern you can "predict" what is coming before it comes. if you just wait for stuff to appear and try to react, there's not enough time/
so I did answer my first question "how is this possible", it's possible because people memorized it.
+LadyGenevieve
Except that moving accordingly is a skill that requires very good reflexes and fast reaction times.
*finishes one of the hardest games to exist* *takes a sip of water completely emotionless*
SPOILER ALERT
i love this game, used to play it on the bus going to and from work, you can only get better
That moment when I have a better score than Terry Cavanagh at Super Hexagon...
he did not go further for demonstration of the game. He could have gone way way farther. i have heard that he has around ehh 500 to 600 seconds on hyper hexagonest. Here i am at 105 :-:
Silent Prototype okay nevermind XD. I can get around 200 but I haven't really tried to go higher.
Jygantic im trying my self, but yes someone managed to beat that too but then he beat him, yes he is the super hexagon god.
He created it. Which means he knows exactly what to do and exactly what comes.
My record is 2 seconds :D I must have the greatest world record.
nope..... im kidding
Its so good seeing developers being good at their own game.
No Spoiler alert?! Meh...
I wonder how the reversed part would sound if it was the actual notes played in reverse
