WARNING this is a no no BS review.
In this video I talk about my experiences with the Hyke & Bike Hammock Pod sleeping bag, and draw attention to some major flaws in its design. I also look at some possible work-arounds to try and fix the issues.

Podding is definitely its own niche I feel.
You can throw an UQ on your normal hang and be set but when you opt for a pod its a completely different animal to my mind.
I have 2 comp sacks permanently attached to the continuous loops that act as rain/wind gaiters and boot storage but it'd be nice for a manf to deliver a good, complete, fit for purpose system that didn't require users to tweak, not everyone has the same mindset as us nutters and if they can't get a good result out of the box it puts them off 👍

Question, how tall are you? You make no mention of the suitability of this set-up for those of us who are tall; say over 5' 11".
Are there different lengths of the hammock pod?

I just stuffed a shirt at the foot and hole to stop the draft.

Cold air comes in thru the head end even when clamped up tight around the face, the foot end is clamped tight around the foot end anyway (seen in the video) heat escapes ingresses under the hammock. Hyke and byke are a total waste of money. I review dozens of hammock insulations, and this is by far the biggest bag of shite I have ever had the misfortune to buy.
