- Levi G is testing out yet another item. This time, it is the Hennessy Bubble Pad, wide version.
This is the first time I have bought an item because of a recommendation from the comments. It was very interesting testing out this product. The Hennessy Bubble Pad promises comfort and insulation, and I was eager to see if it lived up to the hype. From the initial setup to the first night of use, I documented my experience to share with you all. I hope you enjoy the watch and find my insights helpful.

Equipment. This under quilt is designed for all Hennessy Hammocks.
It is not down so a bit bulky, but I recommend it to anybody that loves their Hennessy.

Yeah dude, you need to spread butter on both sides of that sandwich and then grill it slowly on low heat, turning and checking it frequently. One of my favorites! 😊
Thanks for the tip! I feel so stupid for being able to screw up a toast. I guess the heat was waay too hot, and yeah, should probably used butter on both sides! 😅
I use a Hennessy hammock with the bubble pad. I go on canoe trips so have a little more cargo space but I wrap it around my internal dry bag in my canoe pack and the bulk is not noticeable. Mulch easier to set up - I have jungle hammock so slide it between layers. Enjoyed the video and I also enjoy pine tea. Cheers from Canada.
Sounds like you go on amazing trips! Canoe trips is something I really want to try.
And thanks for the tip. I'll try to test out ways to minimize the bulk, because the pad really helps to keep me warm at night.
Any issues with condensation while using the bubble pad? That seems to be a common complains when using "reflectix" or Closed Cell Foam sleeping pads in a hammock.
So far I have not noticed anything, but it has not been on my thoughts. I'll be sure to check on it next time. But it has never been an issue that I have noticed.

Can you make pine needle tea with all pine needles or are some from some trees not good for you?
I believe there are some pines in different countries that have needles that could be harmful. I've only done research about the pines in Norway. I would highly suggest to research the edibles in your region before consuming anything.

A had a lot of condensation. Easier to go with a hang tight down underquit on etsy. Same size and warmer.
I am currently looking for an underquild that can replace my current setup. I just have to save up money before I buy something. I want to try to get something of quality this time, so I don't need to upgrade again in under a year.
It will probably be from Hammock Gear, but I've not decided yet. Underwuilts are so insanely expensive!
i use a hennessy with double layer i use the closed cell foam pad till below zero the add the bubble pad for real cold nights i leave it in the hammock when i pack it into a compression bag

I don't know why hennesy don't sell the insulation they use in the survivorman hammock separately , the bubble pad is a good idea but I've never used it after I bought it lol , I got the survivor man hammock so my jungle xl isn't used much these days, I be more worried about that meat than some black toast 😂😂

Haha, don't worry. The meat is already pre-prepared. You're actually meant to put it on bread and eat it without even warming it up. So I'll survive 😂
