Sleeping In My TICKET TO THE MOON Hammock
Просмотров 799Месяц назад
Levi G tries to sleep in his Ticket To The Moon hammock. It is a simple hammock with no bugnet or tarp, but with nice weather and not too many bugs, he has high hopes that it will do its job. It was pretty nice testing out this hammock. I have always just used it as a hammock to lounge it when I've been on smal trips. However, this time I wanted to test out if it was possible to spend the night...

Levi G taking his Hennessy Hammock out on a cold adventure while having his usual fun in the woods. It was a challenge to record this. I've used a tarp and hammock almost exclusively in all seasons, severe spring storms, winter snow, all of it. But my tarp is WAY bigger than that one! Rain comes sideways you need shelter! But I love how you can kick back in your hammock and still cook, still look around at nature.

This has helped a lot to trim down the time to set up and down the hammock. I try to be careful not to go overboard with mods. I would love to travel to USA one day and explore the nature over there. I don't have the money now, but one day I might take the trip over there and have an amazing adventure!

      I was just far enough from the road that the sounds didn't bothered me. I think it actually helped because it masked out the scary sounds nature tend to make in the middle of the night. But thanks for the tip, and thanks for commenting!

    I've always wondered what it feels like to be flashbanged IRL. 3:40 made me wonder no more. Isnt traffic sounds categorized as white noise? I could understand that its no problem sleeping with that noise, unless youngsters come booming with their boom boxes at 4 am while puking out the rear windows. Anyway, keep up the good work!

      Oops, sorry about that! Yes, I guess you could say it's white noise. At least with the distance I was from the road. If I were closer, I think the larger trucks would do damage damage to my ears :o Oh, and there were plenty of cars with sound system louder than a jet engine driving by. It didn't bother me, other than it made me feel old because I didn't recognized any of the songs they played, haha! Thanks for the comment!

    Hi, the best thing for hammock is self inflating sleeping mat. Your backside dont get cold, and sleeping is like in bed ✌️

    • @LeviGAdventure
      @LeviGAdventure 11 месяцев назад

      I tried that one time, and it made it very hard to lay diagonally, because the mat kept sliding around :( Maybe I'd need some anti-slide material under it, or have a double layered hammock. Or a hammock like the Haven that has a flat base. Thanks you so much for commenting!

    Sleeping outside is definetly a hard thing. I remember once i brought my dog and a tent. At night i heard rustling beneath the tent. I was scared for real because it was most likely a snake. i took my dog out and we hiked for two hours and came back. Lifted the tent and moved it a little just so i could inspect under it. Snakeyboy was gone, probably went inside my sleeping bag while i was away.
