These were painful 5 days of grind, its so annoying that every single battle lasts ~5 minutes because nobody can dodge a single attack run these days. My sanity can't take making these types of videos any more...

There are some people who know what they're doing in this, but you can just see there's a certain point where the plane just can't give them anymore. 𝐑 𝐀 𝐈 𝐃 𝐄 𝐍 takes no prisoners.

I find it amazing how you've got this sort of shot down to a science; the throttle drop, the flaps, and the precise use of rudder. By comparison I think I overuse the rudder at times, it's a new skill I'm learning so I tend to use it even when I might not need to.
Tbh it doesn't always work XD it requires the enemy to follow the flight path and not do any sudden evasive maneuver. It's also not a very smart thing to do (0% throttle in a plane that can clearly win a vertical fight), but I just love doing that
i like the subtle touch in the editing with the voicelines at 1:35 how they dont care about you getting a decent kill but then theres a conversation while youre diving on someone
That LA-7 fight was great, that's the kind of engagement that keeps you coming back to War Thunder in spite of how awful the game can be.

Dude... this one and the Shiden video are probably the best WT Air RB videos i have seen so far. The music, the dogfights...I just put them on full 42" screen and just enjoy the goosebumps they make me.
I purchased j2m5 30mm after seeing one of your videos. That was definitely one of my best purchases. Its just soooo much fun to fly.
I love the Il-2 themes so much. Even disregarding the nostalgia I have over it.

I've seen a lot of clips of the game, but never such beautiful and most surprisingly calm clips. And these short but always deadly cannon bursts are like a single swing of a katana. A real samurai.
Can't remember the last time I had a fun or challenging fight in this game and this dude is just out here sitting on entire clip compilations of the stuff, absolutely mind blowing
The efficiency of cannons at the moment truly puts a smile on my face, very nice montage man.

It also has me looking over to my side, where my flight stick is still with me for all those years.
It's a reminder, where it all began, my love for aviation, and is a nice reminder/drive for me to continue trying my best during my Aeronautical Engineering studies, despite all the struggles.

Wish I was accepted for aeronautical studies here too, but sadly they're wayyy too tough for my poor math skills

I sadly have had to 'downgrade' from BEng to BSc Engineering, due to struggles with Math (terrible Uni management during covid, + race quatas here in 🇿🇦)
Did you apply for BEng or BSc?
Have you also maybe tried looking into Technical Colleges for Aeronautics?
I had a friend of a friend attend a Technical College of Aeronautics (In UK) and it looks pretty good as well.
Less reliance on Maths, but obviously this comes at the trade off, with limiting what work research and design work you can get into/quality for.
But you get right into things, designing aerofoils from 1st year already.
I know of people here in 🇿🇦, who couldn't get into BSc or BEng (pre race quota)
and first went into Technical College, went into work sector for experience, then had company set a bursary to get higher qualifications at BEng as their potential was seen.
Maybe the same can be done over there.

Sometimes I wish I could play on the EU servers so I could meet, maybe, even a single time, a person who knows how to dogfight. I think in 5000 battles on NA I've met like 2 people who I realized were attempting rolling scissors.

Beautifull dancing there. I know that You mentioned that You dont think You are that good at explaining things but I really hope that one day You will be like "fuck it, I will make a guide on defensive/offensive maneuvers". With the level of Your understanding on how to execute the fights properly etc. I bet that even your worst shot on making a guide series will bring a fuckton of potential to learn and improve for most of us. I would love to be able to pull off such a level of control over the engagements as You do.

The Raiden is OP. Ridiculously good climb rate and angle, great handling that comes standard with most Japanese aircraft, and powerful guns.
I love this video. It's so fun watching and learning from you. If it's not too much to ask, can you do a video on the P-61 in the American tech tree? That is a plane I feel I'm going to get stuck on. I'd love to learn how to use it.
I only ever used the premium version but it was quite enjoyable despite how fat it is, might make a vid one day again

A few days ago i restarted playing War Thunder after at least four years do to you videos and on the second day i had the unfortunately rather short honour of "fighting" you, in my at that time stock Bf 109-G6, presumably while you were collecting footage for this video. I guessed that i'll probably loose but i wanted to give it a try anyway. War thunder had other plans because a single hit from your 20mm shot me down, the plane was still in good condition but the game decided i was shot down. Welp, perhaps there will be another day and another try.

i have been watching you for a long time now,
and i have always wondered how do you control your planes,
what i mean is what keybinds do you use, is this all with default mouse and keyboard settings? or do you use a joystick ( i dont think so) u use keyboard and mouse right?
i think we could all learn from you by how you set up your keyboard & mouse controls.
i want to be able to fly like you or atleast have the same same starting position.
whenever i watch your videos i feel like i am doing something wrong with my flying and i highly suspect it has to do with my settings. dont get me wrong im not a noob with 2000h
could you make a video showing your settings and maybe explain a little bit about each?
i am especially interested in what key you use to look around while fighting.

Just curious question, which Raiden is the best Raiden though? I'm having fun with every version and I can't tell what even is the difference besides the guns.
J2M2 is the lightest and most versatile, later models are more suited for high altitude and armed better. I like the J2M3 the most myself

Which late J2M (5.7 BR) should I go for ? I don't really know which one to play first, because they seem to be very similar.
J2M3 better at medium altitude, J2M5 better at higher altitude (>5km) , J2M4 better at very high altitude (>7km). I'm personally a huge J2M3 fan boy so it's up to your personal preference and whether you climb a lot or no
