To prevent your mental health from falling you decide to remove the game you just install but it's too late, now you are infected, this game is now in your brain...forever.
They say the Lancaster was loved for her manoeuvrability. The Mosquito aswell they say it has the performance of a single engine fighter. I’d say Britians quite nerfed in the game…. Well until the Tallboys that is

I dogfighted three japanese planes in one match, two at the same time, in my Lanc Mk.3 and won. I literally ran down the last one while it was trying to run away after killing one of my teammates. Harris would be proud.
I once encountered a Lincon in my Fw190 that managed to juke my first pass and kill me with his gunners. When I asked him how he did that, he said "if spading the Lancaster has taught me anything, it's that British bombers make great fighters"
I've been inspired by your bomber dogfight montages, so I started spading bombers by dogfighting and bombing. Sweden was way too easy as the bombers are more than capable of dogfighting, they can even do bomber interception.(Seriously if you haven't flown Saab 18's, they're beastly). Will spade the rest of bombers in nations your way.
Swedish bombers are just straight broken and I despise playing against them. I would be fine with them moving all the overtiered Swedish fighters down in BR if they fixed the absurd performance of the 13.2mm compared to any other machine gun in the game. Not only do you get superior ballistics than the M2 .50, both muzzle velocity and maximum firing range are the best of any prop gun of any kind in the game, but you also get a higher rof and explosive mass than comparable heavy MGs with HEF rounds. It's literally just the best at everything by an insane margin.
@@combativeThinker If those guns were that good they wouldn't have switched to M3s after the war, but let's say they are historically accurate. They're still overpowered. Especially since they keep nerfing cannons to the point that this "machine gun" you're probably using a crutch is a more consistent damage dealer than most cannons. Either Swedish planes need to be even more overtiered compared to their flight performance in order to compensate, (which isn't fun for everyone,) or they at the very least need to fix the ranges at which different shells disappear. No objective reason the Swedish 13mm should be the only thing that can deal damage past 2km. Meanwhile most cannons have hilariously short maximum ranges that are genuinely ahistorical.

i cant believe you havent tried the PBM-1 yet. Its turn rate and Aoa is insane, all the guns are 50 cals and cover all 180 degrees atop the plane, it has a lot of empty space to be shot, its a fewkin boat m8, and the only issue is you fight biplanes often but theyre flown by nooooobs so its not too bad
Moral lesson: if a bomber is maneuvering such that, the dogfight geometry is becoming that of a DRIVE-BY SHOOTOUT GANGSTER STYLE, it's our boy smigol and you need to stay as far as possible.
Not trying to take away from Smigol's incredible skill as always, but I was really bummed not to see any footage of the Mk 1 lancaster here. The twin 50s in the tail actually help out a lot with the Mk III and are good enough to do damage-you can see that they do the killing blow in almost all his turret kills. The British .303s it seems have been nerfed yet again and now seem to spread out like a shotgun past 500m and do negative damage-worse than any other .30 cal in any other nation
British 4 engine bomber dogfights are the best. Guns are pants but the hilarity of it guides the bullets and it always somehow works. Nobody sees it coming

I managed to shootdown a jet at 11.0 with my lancaster once (and by shootdown i mean fly low over his airfield and light him up with turrets as he repaired)
Smigol. If you really want to dogfight in a bomber, fly the Ar-2 (soviet tech tree, 2.3 br). Its guns are underwhelming, but its flight performance rivals that of the fighters at its br. Very fast too, so by the time you have dropped your bombs you are in a perfect position to dive on the enemy team and cause cahos.

All because 20mm canons nationwide are bugged at the moment and HE rounds don't generate more than 2-3 shrapnel per hit (Yes, HE is still not fixed) Seen wyvern dumping whole ammo load, point-blank, to just kill pesky B25
Its well seen on fighting Be-6 with japanese 20mm HEs, it feels as if Be-6 had a forcefield or reactive armor around it, worst damage i have done to one was destroying few of its controll surfaces.
