I tried doing the ROW headlight codes and it worked perfectly on my B7 Cabrio but when I start the car I get all sorts of codes that my tailight bulbs are out 🙁 if I change it back back to USA all the errors go away and they work perfectly. Any idea why?

So far I thing that obdeleven is %100 worth the money. It will scan thought every module and will let you know if there is any problems. This product is meant for beginner's and enthusiast that are on a budget. Also as far as the amount of cars you can use it on wise I dont know if there is a limit. ( so far I have scanned and programmed 7 different cars and it has not given me any issues. ) So in conclusion it depends on you. Are you a beginner or enthusiast ?
That is because you are comparing the coding for a B7 a4 to a 8v a3. There is about 12 years of development changes between your car and mine. Also your generation of a3 only has been out for 3 years. People are still tinkering with it. Would this work on a 2009 Audi A4 B7 Cabrio!?? Take my money if so.. I swapped over to a European ballast so I could drive the clear no Amber cap turn signal cover lens housing and my system is a freaking out.. I've not seen anybody else call this out as a fix have you ever heard of anything like that!?

Sorry but the only b7's that can do fog light for DRL is 2005 models ( because only the B6 had the foglight as DRL ) and the Needle sweep starts form gen B8.

There are restrictions in north america for the amount headlight bulbs that can be on at once. Europe does not have that restriction. All I did was put the car in to Euro mode so I can have fog lights on while the high beam is on. North American Law dictates that the maximum amount of bulbs that can be on at once is 4 hints the fog light turns off when high beam is on. I would understand if this was the B6 since it has its own independent high beam bulb. But the B7 is bi xenon and the light output on the B7 is bad in my opinion. Plus I wont be blinding anyone ( Fog lights are aimed properly ). I just need to turn off the high beam when there is on coming traffic. Thank you for your comment. Also sorry for responding so late. Android is better for this but you can use iOS these days as well. Also the OBDeleven device. Thats all. I recommend if you are using an android device to get the pro version of the device.

The tool will scan every module that your car has. You said that the light turns off when you turn on the car ? Does it in anyway effect the cars performance ?
Hey thanks for your wonderful video I’m having trouble with some LED taillights will this Device help rectifying the issue I’m having it’s not working with reverse lights blinkers or brake light I have an Audi A4 2008 Quattro the smaller lights which are the driving brake lights are working fine it’s the other modules on both sides that are working at all and I’m getting the warning codes on the dash as if they’re not even being recognized and the blinker blinks really fast could you could you please provide the code and instructions if you have them I would greatly appreciate it
Sorry for getting back to you so late. Since the taillight's are led with low wattage draw the computer freaks out. Sound like you need some load resistors or canbus complaint bulbs.
I have not coded any b8 a4 before but here is what I found. Looks like its very similar to the b7 but its long coding. [46 - Cent. Conv.] [Coding - 07] -> [Long Coding Helper] Byte 2 Bit 2 - Set to 1 Module 46 Coding Long Coding Byte 2 set bite 2 to 1. Let me know if that helps. If anything there is apps on OBDEleven that has presets ( that you have to use credits for ) for coding for b8 a4 ( its only 10 credits ).
Go to "Car > Gauges > Vehicle Speed. It reads the true speed straight from the computer. I found out my speedometer actually off by 5mph. If it reads 70mph, I'm actually going 65mph based off the computer

By any chance do you have any way to recode a battery on a 2005.5 Audi A4. I replaced a battery with factory one but Audi wants 260.00 to code it. Any idea how to do it with odb eleven. I can’t find anything online.
I dont think that B6 or B7 a4's are battery sensitive. What kind of code are you getting ? The reason I say that ^ is because the factory battery rating is 800 cold cranking amps. When my battery died on my car I went to a junk yard and got a battery out of a 2004 bmw 745li which is rated for 900 cold cranking amps. The thing barely fits in the battery location. I have never had a code for having a different battery. I think audi might be pulling your leg.
ZigmaTronik very possible. I have some codes for implausible signal intermittent etc. I assume it may be a short but just replaced battery so figured I try and do what they say.
If you look up VCDS coding you can find a detailed list of codes that is possible for you car and what module it is under. For me I looked up B6/B7 audi a4 (2002-2008) coding VCDS.

got a 06 audi a4 2.0t comfort control has stopped working they wanted $1000 to replacegot one with same numbers plug and play. windows etc. works now. but only have one key fob and doesnt work now tried reprogramming but didn't work.
I had that happen to my brothers car. I am guessing keyless entry does not work ether ? What I did was go to the junk yard and get the comfort modal . Its located under the driver foot well. Like show here www.capav.com/Audi/Misc/ConvModule_800.jpg What happens alot is that the module gets water damage over time ( because of winter/rain season) When you have the regular mats. (In my opinion stupid location to have the module. Just make sure that when you get the module you also get the keyfob for the donor car ( just the button side.) so you dont have to reprogram the keyfob ( dont need the key size because you will slap it on to your own key. ) One other thing. Before you do all that ^ take out your comfort module to see if there is any water damage / corrosion. Let me know how it goes.

No unfortunately I don't have the b7 anymore. Engine failed 2 months later :( 2.0 FSI engines are the worst. You would have a better reliability with a b5 s4... ( and that has 2 shit ko3 turbos on them that fails)

Want to talk about I have a B6 A4 and I did the same mods. The fact that is both B6 and B7 use identical Electronics of course slight variations between the years. They're both are under 8E chassis code. The difference between B6 and B7 is a full exterior design change and slight interior design change. You ever wonder why B6 has the same interior as a B7... also the last thing is the B8 is considered as 8K and the B9 is considered as 8F...
Never disable Seat belt warning, and never use Beep stoppers. SEAT BELT IS THERE FOR A REASON, to save your life in case of an accident. Did people not learn that? I don't care if it beeps, put your seat belt on. Is it that hard? Like you are not doing a fucking marathon.
I am not telling people to do it for when you are driving. More for when you are waiting and idling. You know when you are parked and not moving... If people dont have common sense in the first place they should not get a drivers license. BTW funny thing that the German variant of the cars dont have the seatbelt chime enabled for a reason. Almost all citizens are law-abiding...

yes you can use the same way to program with out the light sensor. It will just turn off DRL as a function.

So you did Central electronics rest of the world coding on. Try coating the cluster to rest of the world as well. Let me know how it goes.

I think you have to set your car to EU or US for that feature.
I would do EU for the tac to read in km/h.

Some of them are slightly different compare to others.
So as far as I know the B6/B7 use bits coding and the B8 and up use Long coding ( bytes )

Module 46 is under the footwell. Chances are it's dying because overtime water gets in it. Take the carpeting out dry it up and reconnect it.

Im having my ABS module rebuilt on my 2001 VW Passat

It cant recode the abs module but it can diagnose the issue.
See if your wheel speed sensors are good or not.

the window thing is a standard feature anyway, well mine does it anyway

I don't think you can program a key with obdeleven. But I'm pretty sure you can reset the airbag light through the diagnosis.

how do you determine how many bits to add or remove from the present code?
trial and testing.
Basically add the bits and test if it worked. If not then putting it back to the original value

Do you know why the window open and close with key wouldn’t be working with b7 a4 2.0t? My original code was 11120 and I added the 64 and code was a success but it didn’t work. Do you know why?

By any chance do you have any way to recode a battery on a 2005.5 Audi A4. I replaced a battery with factory one but Audi wants 260.00 to code it. Any idea how to do it with odb eleven. I can’t find anything online.
I dont think that B6 or B7 a4's are battery sensitive. What kind of code are you getting ?
The reason I say that ^ is because the factory battery rating is 800 cold cranking amps.
When my battery died on my car I went to a junk yard and got a battery out of a 2004 bmw 745li which is rated for 900 cold cranking amps. The thing barely fits in the battery location. I have never had a code for having a different battery.
I think audi might be pulling your leg.
ZigmaTronik very possible. I have some codes for implausible signal intermittent etc. I assume it may be a short but just replaced battery so figured I try and do what they say.

If you look up VCDS coding you can find a detailed list of codes that is possible for you car and what module it is under.
For me I looked up B6/B7 audi a4 (2002-2008) coding VCDS.
why do you add 64 to code for windows? Can you break down where you get the numbers?

got a 06 audi a4 2.0t comfort control has stopped working they wanted $1000 to replacegot one with same numbers plug and play. windows etc. works now. but only have one key fob and doesnt work now tried reprogramming but didn't work.

What happens alot is that the module gets water damage over time ( because of winter/rain season) When you have the regular mats. (In my opinion stupid location to have the module.
Just make sure that when you get the module you also get the keyfob for the donor car ( just the button side.) so you dont have to reprogram the keyfob ( dont need the key size because you will slap it on to your own key. )
One other thing. Before you do all that ^ take out your comfort module to see if there is any water damage / corrosion.

No unfortunately I don't have the b7 anymore. Engine failed 2 months later :( 2.0 FSI engines are the worst. You would have a better reliability with a b5 s4... ( and that has 2 shit ko3 turbos on them that fails)
Well the Coding function's just not supported on the B6..

In low light the 18-55mm Nikon lens sucks at auto focus.
This does not work on b6 as they have short coding and b7 is long coding. So if you have b6 don't waste your time watching
Want to talk about I have a B6 A4 and I did the same mods. The fact that is both B6 and B7 use identical Electronics of course slight variations between the years. They're both are under 8E chassis code. The difference between B6 and B7 is a full exterior design change and slight interior design change. You ever wonder why B6 has the same interior as a B7... also the last thing is the B8 is considered as 8K and the B9 is considered as 8F...

Never disable Seat belt warning, and never use Beep stoppers. SEAT BELT IS THERE FOR A REASON, to save your life in case of an accident. Did people not learn that? I don't care if it beeps, put your seat belt on. Is it that hard? Like you are not doing a fucking marathon.
