You can download the Phone App onto your phone for free. Then on the Phone App you can enter your car and check what ODB Apps are available. Then you can buy the device if you want to.
I have a 2017 Volkswagen golf R and I swear there’s like only three apps That even work with my car can’t do the windows down can’t do the mirror dip can’t do that a lot car with key when the engine running..You guys need to update these apps so that they work Majority of the golfs not just the GTI👎🏻

the problem I'm having is after I installed an app it only works 'some' of the time. I got the start/stop app and the gauge swing app and both of them only work about half the time, in fact the only app that works everytime is the oil temp app. do apps get up dates that make them work better ?

Question; I bought the OBDeleven from you for my 2 Tiguans 2014 and 2017, there are apps on the other models like the Golf that I would like to use on my Tiguan , is there a possibility to transfer those apps from the golf to my Tiguan example : the needle sweep. In a way the car computers are the same, not all the apps for a golf are pictured for the Tiguan although we could use them too.let me know, thanks in advance. I own a 2014 Audi A1 Sportback. It does have folding mirrors installed and also a position on the mirror control to fold them manually manually. I used 10 credits to activate the comfort folding mirror app to be able to use the auto fold option. It does not do what the app says it will do even though the green check mark is present and the oBDEleven says it is activated. Why is that?

For instance I'd like the ability to set my headlights to a higher position (HID lighting package 2017 Golf Alltrack) w/o breaking them, would I have that capability? How would I find out? Internet search relying on possible misinformation? Very sketchy product for any changes/adaptations you might want to do as you are pretty much left to find out yourself buy searching internet which could take forever...if at all.
Using the app on the Obdeleven to make the short horn confirmation. Horn stopped working so I set it back to normal. Still not working. Checked my history and it showed that I set it to sounder. Ugh my confirmation doesn't work at all anymore. The new apps suck.

You know, it's very simplified. But unfortunately, most of us home mechanics who work on our cars need a more comprehensive set-up. I purchased a Carista. Yea, it tells me the OBD fault codes but what if I change a part? You realize just changing the battery in a VW needs that car to be coded to the battery that you've installed. Same with just cleaning your throttle body, flushing your transmission. All of these cars are drive by wire, completely electronic and changing any part means that you need to tell the car that a new part has been installed and the cpu, tcm must be restored to handle the change. I could care less about my window functionality and I'm not going to erase fault codes without repairing the part that is causing it. The ODBeleven sounds and looks a lot like the Carista but also sounds like anything I do I'll have to pay again to restore the coding necessary to make that part work as programmed by the manufacturer. Tell me if I'm wrong. Maybe it's my version or make of my MKV Jetta but the Carista dongle and app are very too simplified for my needs. Currently I'm working on my transmission. Already had changed my battery that had failed in my car only to learn later that the new battery needed to be coded to my vehicle.

Waiting for my unit to arrive so checking videos how to etc. This is 4 year old and NOTE that all questions people have asked have gone unanswered... not good for people looking at buying one of these when their questions are left unanswered SO is this just OBD11 or the site doing this review ...Deutsche Auto Parts... not very good customer support/service either way... OK so ALL option do not have Apps made for them SO you then need to know the relevant codes etc. to change things that do not have apps yet BUT where is the list of available codes etc. to do this? The forums are rubbish with back yard people disagreeing on this and not even showing the correct way to enter coding etc. SO what we need is a FULL list of what can be changed/done using this unit and what the codes are to do so... Some of the info and videos, forums are also hopeless with incorrect info and things like If you do this your cruise control MAY not work etc. Should be able to save setting before trying these apps/coding and then if something goes wrong just be able to reset and not have to go through history and then have to use coding to reset one at a time... Anyhow will see for myself once it arrives. BUT you need to update this video as a lot has occurred in the last 4 years... A video for each make and model would be good ... I have even found with my 2020 Golf R that some of the Apps shown to activate things are a waste of time as already activated on my model ... SO why do they appear for this model? unless it is just so you can de-activate them if already activated... When connecting and opening App it should show status on that particular app...

Just got the obdeleven for throttle body reset on 1999 VW Passat 2.8 because the battery was disconnected. I think this model has drive by cable. but the scanner is not working using 060 group or 098 . Am I doing it wrong?
On my 2018 Tiguan I can turn off the Auto Stop-Start feature, but it defaults back to on every time I restart the car. Can this change the default so it remains off until I want to turn it on?

I downloaded the app to play around and I'm having some issues. My 2009 GTI was totaled when someone failed to yield the right of way to me in December and I replaced it with a 2015 mk7 TDI. In garage mode I couldn't see the TDI as an option, only the GTD . I entered in my vehicle's VIN number and it tells me that it's a GTI not only that it's trying to sell me apps that have nothing to do with my car and I'm more of the euro-spec version of the car ( MIB II radio, color MFD, Etc) . What gives? Also once you buy an app how many times can you use it? Can you only use it on the original car? I literally just bought a Ross Tech 3 VIN VCDS and I had no idea this thing existed but I'm not willing to eat a 20% restocking fee just yet so I'm trying to figure out if it's worth it. If it is I can probably ebay my V2 for a 5 to 10% loss best case. That said as a developer Ross Tech might be better suited for me however I like the simplicity a mobile version like this. Understanding how it works with apps across multiple cars is very important given my wife's next car maybe a Volkswagen or Audi and the Ross text 3 Vin limitation an expensive upgrade is also determining Factor.

You get credits by watching ads and every time you log in. Also, to use the key fob to lower and raise windows (once installed), where in the MFD do you activate it on a mkv gti?
On mine it was under the car button on the head unit. the first time i coded it with obdeleven it didn't take for whatever reason so i had to do it a second time. I believe it was under window convenience opening(all windows or drivers window)
If someone were to use VCDS to do mods on a GTI, for example setting the urban joke blinking, could you use the ODBeleven app to revert the changes made?

Hi, I'm curious if you have used ODBEleven to enable Drive Select. Without diving in to it and spending the credits, I'm wondering if it will ask, or know what to enable. I do not have dynamic suspension, for example. Carista has a nice write up for this, but I can't find any video or documents that show the ODBeleven app run from start to finish. Paul, I have 2016 MVII GTI SE and I have "convenience open" selected but I don't know what it does. I even when to the dealer and they didn't give me a straight answer, considering that the car was bought with it. The build date is 7/2015.

No, but you can with the VAGCOM it’s a option under the ABS module to turn a soft start option to disabled, look on the forums. ECS OFF on obd11 turns off most of the traction control but not all the way

On mine it was under the car button on the head unit. the first time i coded it with obdeleven it didn't take for whatever reason so i had to do it a second time. I believe it was under window convenience opening(all windows or drivers window)
I bought this because I have led tail lights on mk6 Gti but there is no Code for led tail lights, I hope they will have one in future.
also - when i try to add a vehicle to see what apps are available for it, it is requesting a VIN - I can't just select a make and model

Any idea on how to correct the model on your car so that the proper apps show? I can't delete my car because it comes back after I plug in. It's set to the Golf Kombi, which hardly has any apps. Needs to be on the 2012-2017 MK7 Golf... I've sent a message through "help" and it's all crickets.

I'd like to know the same. Don't see much use for this if your particular car isn't covered or it only has 1-2 apps available for it.
Seems with OBD11 scan tool everything is vague and only way to find IF it works is buy it and find out...it seems quite possible it won't work for the particular job you want to accomplish for the model you have. Everything about this is like buy it, try it and see...nothing definitive.
For instance I'd like the ability to set my headlights to a higher position (HID lighting package 2017 Golf Alltrack) w/o breaking them, would I have that capability? How would I find out? Internet search relying on possible misinformation? Very sketchy product for any changes/adaptations you might want to do as you are pretty much left to find out yourself buy searching internet which could take forever...if at all.

Hi, I'm curious if you have used ODBEleven to enable Drive Select. Without diving in to it and spending the credits, I'm wondering if it will ask, or know what to enable. I do not have dynamic suspension, for example. Carista has a nice write up for this, but I can't find any video or documents that show the ODBeleven app run from start to finish. ODBeleven support was unable to help.

obdeleven has an option under apps to "ESC Off Permanently"
No, but you can with the VAGCOM it’s a option under the ABS module to turn a soft start option to disabled, look on the forums. ECS OFF on obd11 turns off most of the traction control but not all the way
