You definitely helped me replace my radiator on my '14 Taurus SE. I literally just got done replacing it. I couldn't have done it without watching your video.
@@keoni615i’m at 172 thinking it might be a good idea to do that. i’m gonna maintence the tranny and coolant today . only prob i’ve had with this 14’ is an engine oil sensor fail at 140k it didn’t leave me stranded though and was only 240$ at ford .
thank you i have a 14’ sel with 172k doing every bit of maintenance i can to it to see how far it’ll go . engines is a1 trans is starting to show age , changed the fluid at 155k changing the filter soon.
on that drain plug is there anyway of removing it without it breaking. We have the same exact car an need to flush the coolant but dont want to break the drain plug.
Hope by now you've fixed yours.. but I take a small flat head and heat it up real hot with a lighter and press it into the broken part of the plug and let it make a flat head tip like "screw" and then unscrew it. Have had to do it 2 or 3 times now.
SOOOOOOOO.... Where he says @ 13.14 minutes into the replacement "we Have 2 different screws" DO NOT install the longer in the position where the shorter ones go.. They look identical but 2 are just a bit longer. YOU WILL PUNCH A HOLE IN YOUR NEW RADIATOR. Trust me LOL
