when you're playng with all instruments with your band mosky silver is the best overdrive i've never used. The others (turbo amp or pure sky caline ecc ecc...) are pretty closed when you play solitary in your house...but when you are playng with bass drum and others guitar mm silver it comes out more from mix. isn't only a control eq question, it's a pedal's character. And the same happens if used as a slight boost on the clean channel. In fact I keep it set like this and it really gives me a lot using the same setting on the controls, both when I boost clean Channel and when I turn it on on the distorted lead channel. Same result, very defined attack and that slight push needed on both channels. For what it costs, it's a small miracle. my favorite solution which therefore works well for both channels: drive 3 bass 6 output 4 treble 3. Obviously it depends on which guitar you use, I'm talking about single coils. only two flaws 1)the controls are very sensitive and (for example) moving from 3 to 5 or from 3 to 2 changes very much, in addition the potentiometers are very soft and it takes very easy to move them accidentally 2) indicator led is too much brightess, when you are on your perdal board in some positions it blinds your eyes...
Great video! I'm looking for something to compliment/stack well with my Silver Sky -> Tubescreamer. Really interested in the Amp Turbo before taking the plunge on a Real Lovepedal Amp11. Is the boost as crackly/noisy as the reviews say? I play direct to PA very often so that would probably be a deal breaker for me if it's super bad!
If you can swing it. It’s pretty affordable. However I’m always an advocate for spending more on quality gear if you can. My board is more boutique stuff. As someone who has played a ton of pedals. I can assure you there’s a reason some are super cheap and some aren’t haha
@@aaronjlivecchi Ah no problem man! i enjoy your youtube videos until i found this Mosky Amp Turbo because that is one of useful pedal on my pedalboard hehe
Very nice comparison! The mm silver Is a Timmy od Copy, i suggest to compare the amp turbo with the caline pure Sky, One of the best timmy inspired od ever! Got One and it's Amazing!
I'd like to see Amp turbo vs Pure Sky

That green pedal looks a lot like a Lovepedal Amp Eleven.
It's based on it
