I own the Uzi, knocked off My AMT R2!!! You read that right lol, amazing and great to stack. I’ve been saving for a Midvalley Peaks V3 to be almost done with the board but WOW the controller sounds great too. I think it’s more of a rat circuit

I just ordered this pedal from Amazon after watching a demo . It was a toss-up between this one and the Atmosphere. Both are great and I will be buying the Atmosphere too once I get paid.

This was a good, affordable pedal. I believe the company is definct now. I still use this as my main overdrive.

mine cuts the sound for a millisecond when i engage the pedal...some demos had this problem, some don't. Is it normal? thanks

They are similar in that they’re both fairly transparent, but the D250X has a much more percussive attack than the Obsessive. I’ve never heard anything quite like the Obsessive, I don’t think. I might pick one up. I already have a DOD 250…

Cool, the Pettyjohn Gold is a Marshall in a box, what makes it klonish is that Stephen put real blue stripe germanium diodes in his, same ones that Bill put in the Centaurs. I can't speak to the diodes used by j rockett, but their circuit is copied from the Klon. Ive had a gold v1 for 5 years, but just grabbed a mkll klonish deluxe and I'm just over the moon with how this sounds! Thanks for the killer demo. :)

The Uzi deserves a medal. It has knocked three pedals off My board! Super versatile, works amazing with others, but sounds great even by itself. For tighter stuff I bought the Dark Flame and WOW game Over for distortion. Fuzz territory next, so looking at the Mosky TW clone of Triple Wreck by Wampler for that wall of sound Rectifier Metal! Haven’t liked the demos though, sounds weak. On which case I’ll grab a DemonFx R4 Revv G4 clone and a Solo (Riot) Is Dream. 4 amazing flavors. Argos (precision drive), DemonFx TS9/808 clone, behringer (boss Ge700 clone)fronted by a EHX Nano Linear boost ended into the VSN Looper Reverb chorus delay and tuner or bypass kill switch in FRFR for real for real by/thru Mooer Radar ABY ed with a Donner Live Jack M pedal (USB IK killer) with THU,and a Hotone Jogg for Bias and Xstomp. It’s three full rigs in one, add that with a wireless Chocolate Mvave MIDI/pageturner/bank, and it’s tonal bliss. I don’t even own an Amp, Well, the Blackstar fly stack, Mackey CRX3 and 8 inch powered monitor. It’s surreal what is possible today! If You look good and used, even new, this is all under 300$ … Looks and Sounds absolutely Professional. Phew I had to get all that out!

These pedals are great. IMO they just have to be rehoused then will look great in a pedalboard. Im thinking of redoing a joyo American and make the graphics look like a fender deluxe amp

Guys! Use comparison with bypass at same volume level on all settings FIRST. Turn it up last of all. We know it’ll be louder. Players do not use a pre to create OD - other pedals do that.

Preamp is its first job, good to COMPARE bypass with lowest boost - overdrive is secondary tone shaping, plenty of OD units to choose from.

I do like Moskys warmth, but the Joyo has that touch sensitivity/sponginess, which I like very much in pedals, and is quite rare with 60€ pedals, the new NUX 65 has it as well!!

Why didn't you do a demo with the distortion channel of an amp? It's one of the most common ways to use od...
