I got this pedal about a month ago for about $30 Canadian. I was really looking for a micro pedal to plug my headphone amp into, so i didnt have to plug it direct into the guitar. Wasnt expexting much, but ive been very impressed with it so far, especially given the price point

Big fan of the Saturday morning (for me) pedal reviews!! These flamma pedals sound really good, the last vid you did also. They make a pre-amp in the next price range that has some decent presets you can dial in. Great demo as always.

BEST demo so far I've seen/heard on YT! Hot is better than Warm! More dynamic, & the less than unity volume on Warm mode is a problem! TS type circuit for sure!

Sounds like a TS variant to me, Flamma is fantastic, nice company, wonderful people in the customer service dept too. I’m using mine boosted and it’s gorgeous, I wanted to show off all my expensive pedals, but this one just can’t stay off my board!
is this digital? one of your viewers mentioned that, it sounds natural and dynamic as hell.

Trying to decide whether to buy one or not; the thing is, the distortion or overdrive doesn’t seem very powerful. The tone seems nice but not a lot of crunch or real “drive.” Thoughts?

What type of sound are you looking for exactly and what’s your rough budget?

@@aaronjlivecchi hi, and thanks for the reply; the budget’s not really an issue (although this pedal is mighty cheap!). I think the first OD I had was the Boss Yellow one, way back when (I’m talking the first, like 1978), since then, Big Muff, Rat, the Phoenix Dumble clone, Tube Screamer, the Metal Zone, etc. They all sound kind of cheesy to me (maybe it’s the digital component). I guess I’m looking for a crunch like the old Boss, but with a kind of warmth to it. This pedal seems to have the warmth, but not a lot of attack or crunch. Would you agree? Anyway, thanks!

Check out the PettyJohn ODI. Actually based off the old yellow boss

FTI; this overdrive MUST have an a/c adaptor. I does not take a 9volt…
