What a wonderful bike and what a sound. The frame and the welds are really beautiful. The riding test must have been very exiting, lucky guy ! Once again, thank you very much for this very nice video, I appreciate !
DANM ! I would love to do this with my 1966 Triumph Saint , What a bike ! Imagine this frame and set up using the Royal Enfield 650 Interceptor/ GT engine in this ??? Come on some one needs to do it ! or I will .
Oh, boy. I like this. I keep a trials tire on my BSA victor, even though I just put around now on back roads. Gives the old machine (1970) a gnarly look.
So nice to see a bike that is the Real-Deal. Back in the 70s running in the open deserts in the Southwest USA once in a while I would run across bikes that were similar to this bike and they always left me and my Yamaha Enduro in the dust.
I was surprised that all the car alarms weren't being set off. 😄 What a wonderful motorcycle. I noticed the immaculate welding on the frame as well. A glorious sound too. Thanks Andy and Mike.
see you took the long way around the block, don't blame you, lovely bike, inspired me to drag the Velo out for a quick blast, keep safe all the best, Lenny from Leicestershire, UK
Hi Perry, many thanks for your kind note. I really appreciate it. Yes, that was extremely sad news. Glad you enjoyed the video. That was an awesome bike to ride. Best wishes, Mike
What an awesome bike. It seems like I say that to myself every Sunday. Yet, each new visit to the cul-de-sac presents those rare gems that you may catch every once in a while passing you on the road where you catch yourself thinking, "What was that??!!!" That is definitely a bad boy bike, like that kid who lived down the block who your mom told you to stay away from because he was trouble.
As a lifelong Triumph owner, I have to say that is a lovely bike.I enjoy watching your little utube clips.Wish I could pop round on one of my bikes Mike.
Thanks Mike, those TR6 motors just run so smooth and even. That's a beautiful bike, I loved my 64 TR^R, probably the worst sale I ever made. I rode mine from Memphis to Chicago every couple months and back when I was stationed there in the mid seventies. It'd run solo or two up close up to a hundred the six or seven hours without a problem. That is a special edition indeed. Very nice, and sounds so sweet!
That reminds me of a bike I once had that was so loud that some friends always had a cup of coffee waiting for me because they had enough time to make one. And yes it was even louder than that Triumph!
Got to be the sweetest sounding Triumph twin ever.. think it’d be seriously frowned upon here in the UK though. Andy is a lucky man, thanks for showing it to us Mike
Fantastic machine, sounds great, probably handles great ,with lighter frame, power to weight ratio,Steve mcgueen, would have loved this triumph ,regards Mike United Kingdom 🇬🇧
Great machine Andy, thanks for bringing to the cul-de-sac! Mike you rascal, it was like I could hear the little devil at your ear say - "go faster" on your ride!
@@garys4756 Same...I am already spoilt-though : W650, Yam TX650 and TR1 (xv1000 Chain-drive) Sell all 3 for 1 Triumph ? Probably not, but some open-pipes might be 'the-Go' Dave NZ
Oh, it really got me thinking Dave. It’s so cool and I think as guys who love the originality of these old bikes secretly envy these stunning specials. 😀Cheers, Mike
I can't believe it Mike, you really restrained yourself, I was sure you were going to take it for a longer spin just like you did the last time. I was riding the whole time with you and had the biggest grin on my face... what a ride. Epic!!!😎🏍️🐸
Thank you George. We haven’t heard anything back yet. Still hoping to get a little bit more information on this bike. And he hasn’t opened the engine at all because it’s so tight and put together so well. I suspect there are some “goodies” inside the crank case :-) best wishes, Mike
Currently a registered and street legal Trackmaster frame Bonnie on Craigslist out of Vancouver, WA. Twin Dell'Ortos, delta cylinder head, same ARD magneto, all mounted to a '79 T140 powerplant. I think Baisley Hi-Performance in Portland, OR did a good amount of the work. Asking price is criminally low. I'm having heart palpitations just thinking about it, but it's a full cafe with clip-ons and rearsets, my time riding those passed with the last century.
I grew up in Southern California and that bike screams SoCal desert. Love it!
Gosh thought Steve McQueen was back from the dead, but that’s one beautiful bike and sounds awesome👌
Well the sound should be enough to wake the dead, so we know McQueen is stirring....

Talk about something that puts a smile on your face!!!
Thank you Dan! It sure did 😀😀 that was one of the best visits to the cul-de-sac 😉
Neighbours:- "Andy's back at Mikes again on that bloody Triumph". Really nice bike is that.

Oh, how I enjoyed that! The sound! And what a beautiful bike. Brought back so many memories of my 1970 A65L. Thanks so much Andy and Mike.

I'm sure I saw a window curtain twitch when that one popped in!😊
I Would love to have a frame just like that for my Triumph, work of art
Great bike, reminds me of when I was young, my mum wouldn't be able to sleep until she could hear me on the way home 2 or 3 streets away!
What a glorious machine ! Just brilliant. Thank you Mike & Andy... 👍

WOW!! What a dream of a bike! Thanks guys.
Thanks a lot! Yes, that is an awesome bike!
Very cool of Andy to bring that bike over. It's great that you got to take it for a spin and report back to us how it rides.
That is a real Hot-Rod of a bike. It would be really cool to slid it sideways around the track. 😍
