This makes me so happy… being 22 and fresh into adulthood I love being reminded of how easy childhood was, so much nostalgia lol I really appreciate your content :)
Hi Madison, I am in my first year of graduate school and going for special education. I was wondering if you can make a video showing how you make your powerpoint slides. They are always so fun and interactive.
Yes flipgrid! I used flipgrid in the very first lesson I taught this semester for student teaching. The kids had fun with it 🥰 and it was a great way to get every kid engaged.
Was waiting for this video since a long time. I have learned so much stuff as I am a new teacher myself. Can you please make a video about your reading station and how do you incorporate the daily 4 in your class? 🙂
I love your videos !Since i was really little i have always wanted to be a teacher. Now, you inspire me much more. I love your week in my life's, day in my life's, and your weekend vlogs. Have a blessed day!!
Wow! This is helping me soooo much! I am going into my first year of teaching this year and I will be teaching 2nd grade social studies and reading (I'm departmentalized). Any tips from anyone?? Notes to self about the video: Use Flipgrid, Use Task Cards, Make simple engaging powerpoints
I teach ESL Middle School Social Studies. How often do you differentiate? I try to do it but realistically it can't be done as much as I'd like. A ton of planning goes into differentiating a lesson/activity.
So your math whole group is essentially warm up and a video? What exactly are the videos? Just wondering--we also use everyday math! Thanks so much. :)
You are an amazing teacher!! Where do you find your kid friendly videos and activities that you put on your slides? We also use Benchmark and it’s so advanced for my kiddos.
How do you choose what goes in the lesson plan? Does the school tell you what to teach or do you totally wing it? I mean I know there’s standards to some degree but what’s the full flexibility there
Hi Madison, I have used flipgrid and I do like it for demonstration and student projects like PSAs. How did you get your slides to project in this video so clear? Thanks for sharing.
