Lucas really has come a long way. Still remember when you could submit names for the upcoming Papers, Please. None of us guessed what a huge hit it would become.
The thing I love about games made by a single developer is that it feels more personal and not just a faceless company. They put their heart and soul into the game and work on every detail because they themselves came up with the idea for the game and are actually passionate about it. This is why I like indie games made by a small studio or a single dev. I don’t think somebody should hire him because he will have to work on projects that he might not be as passionate about. If he creates his own game studio and has a few other devs to help him I think that would be his style.
The thing that made him who he is now is not need a huge budget and being limited in resources. We have this tendencies to think "the more the better". Which most of the time results in more pressure on the creative guy and less appealing results.
I solved this question just like the detective in the game. after some searching, i knew she played every game he made until the end and she liked them and boom became a fan.
"It can't all be pirates or people shooting each other, I needed people to die in interesting ways" we're aware Lucas, we're damn well aware
Return of the Obra Dinn is definitely my favourite game from this man, it's absolutely stunning.

At this point someone should hire him and give him a team to create something with at least some budget.
