I think people in England miss her a lot. I live in Brazil, so I didn't have any knowledge of who she really was or what she did, but I was happy that during a disaster in my city due to flooding, the queen spoke about it, sending messages of support and mourning in those weeks.

My dear old Nan passed away at the age of 91 just a few months after the queen. One of my greatest ever memories is every Christmas her telling us all to shhhh when the Queens message came on. Every year without fail. Hope you & Grandad are having the best time up there Nan ❤️

I think it is inspirational that UK had such a long living lady representant for its society. While Her Majesty cared about the people, the people remained united in a common belief that somewhere, for sure, someone like their mother and father was there, and therefore it was only worth it to get up and work so that the peace would last. Life can be as sweet as a lady in her chair. I feel as though the Queen really embodied the spirit of a human as they present themselves in this era, if not always happy, often hopeful. Not to stretch much, I'm grateful for Her Majesty life, even though I'm not Her Majesty subject by nature, as I was born a brazilian person. But I'd like to think that, in heart, we are all children of Her Majesty the Queen Elizabeth The Second's time. So and so, God saves the Queen in Her Majestic sleep.
I always perceive history as something really far away in the past and to some extent disconnected from the modern days, but seeing the Queen live from black and white to modern coloured video, and the fact that she and say King Henry are all related... Elizabeth II was a truly exceptional Queen. She became the very definition of Constitutional Monarch. Flawless execution of duties. 100% commitment to her role. She will never be equaled. The only one of her children who many have come close is Anne. Anne will never ascend. For that reason alone, I believe Canada should abolish the institution. Strangely, I can never recognize her voice unless I see her face. In fact when she appeared in the Paddington at Buckingham palace video, I mistook her for Prunella Scales, the actress (she played the queen in Johnny English during the scene where Johnny is being knighted).

Hello. This year was a terrible year. We have all been terribly sad with all the bad news.
Watching someone age is crazy and saddening. Like it's actually real that someone changes from looking young and beautiful and gradually becoming older😭
Her broadcasts weren't just about talking about Christmas, it was basically describing her whole life, and what happened during her 6 decades of life. And watching her grow up from a teenager, to an old old woman is quite cool of an evolution. It's sad that she had to pass away, because who knows what else we would have heard from her, if it was a 2024 Christmas prodcast. 😔❤
Since the passing of Her Royal Majesty, the world have gone to shit. Call it a coincidence or normal development of world, but somehow I connect it all together.
