I've been a lifelong GT fan even though I'm from central Florida. This was such a good video. One thing stuck out was the blueprint we pretty much gave Alabama to win in the SEC title game. My family goes every year and on the exact play you showed I turned to my mom (a huge Bama fan) and said "you're welcome for showing you how they are beatable." I wear my GT stuff to that game every year especially if GA goes. I hope this season is a great one! THWg!
After hearing about the win in Dublin, I remembered this video and was compelled to rewatch. Once again, I felt the ups and downs that we went through as the season chugged on. Was also extra special because that season was during my last semester as a GT student. Great stuff. While the road’s been rocky and the team has had its missteps, it seems like Key really cares about the game and the players, and he has produced results orders of magnitude better than the other guy. Here’s to a (hopefully) banger season, go jackets baby
This was awesome! Never thought I’d see this level of production for a GT vid. Would LOVE a vid on the ‘06 team or the GT/FSU game in ‘15… at a bare minimum, check out some 06 highlights on your own. ‘06 team was nuts on paper. We had Calvin, Joe Anoai (Roman Reigns), Tashard Choice and several NFL guys on OL & defense. Season started with a 4-pt home loss to #2 ND (Brady Quinn) & college gameday was there. Followed it up by a big away win at #11 VT & it was the 3pm CBS game of the week (pre-SEC rights). Then there was a comeback W against Miami… goal line stand W vs Maryland…blowout loss at Clemson (college gameday game)… and a 3-pt loss at UGA thanks to a weird fumble-6 that should have been ruled down. Capped it off with a 9-6 loss in the ACC Champ game & Calvin going bananas in the Gator Bowl against a badass WVU team. All that to say - I feel like 06 is our ceiling in the NIL era. Tons of hype & great players, huge wins, but head scratching losses. Hope I’m wrong 🤞
Knew about how interesting the team was last season but this video really has me focused on Georgia tech this year. Love these video essays on different college teams with their the fun fans and cultures around them
I'm glad you liked it! I wish I could've used more songs actually performed by the GT band. Unfortunately most recordings were gameday videos with a lot of background noise

UGA student and lifelong Dawg here…this video was a masterpiece. i came to this video expecting to enjoy hearing about yalls constant failures as any UGA student would. but. the editing was so phenomenal i couldn’t believe it. i’ve never been more interested in nerd football in my life… also the dwag bit had me crying laughing the entire time. please never lose that. it’s great. i come out of this experience with that feeling where you hate your younger brother more than anything but seeing him graduate kindergarten lowkey made you proud. and that’s exactly what yall did. but i will warn you, first grade can be really hard! great video tho. see you in athens 😁
Even though it is from the mouth of a dwag, I really appreciate your review. A major motivation for the video was so that, while ugag may have a few things working out for them these days, they don't have anyone making 2.5 hour documentaries on their football seasons ;) There's a long road until we get there, but looking forward to jumping up a few more grades this Black Friday 😏

This is an awesome video. I have several thoughts on the 2023 season. I was at the Bowling Green game. And I am still confused. They straight up beat us, better in every facet. Weird. Miami game was one of the most insane moments of my life. I absolutely cannot wait to beat the dwags in Athens this year. To Hell with Georgia!
