    I just placed an order for one today! I am a programmer/data scientist so hopefully I don't run into any compatibility issues. Fingers crossed 🤞

      Absolutely! It's a really nice, compact machine! Can't quite do super heavy graphics gaming on it, but the rest of the package is genuinely really nice!

      @DavidAVelez1  18 дней назад +1

      Awesome! It's not the best for graphics intensive gaming (AAA) but the package as a whole is nice and gaming on the side is a plus!

      Hey, Nginya! Always great to see you here! I'm glad you find the videos therapeutic 😊 Making them is therapeutic for me, haha!
      But yes, the Surface Pro 11 reareally nice, they did a good job with it!

    Nice excited to hear your thoughts! Would also love to see like an edc or what's in my tech bag with like explanation of why you use what use since you are mixed user of apple/android/windows.

      Hey, Alfredo! Always great seeing you here 😁 I really like it a lot! The only thing I would say here is the fans whirring up when gaming and battery life when gaming specifically, but otherwise it has been really good! Actually using it now to play Dragonball Fusion World Client and go through some client emails between turns haha!

    I really want to move back to windows. I miss it so much. MacOS is so far behind in a lot of ways except battery life and power. If it weren't for needing a mac for ios development I'd consider one of these new copilot machines for sure. Maybe not the surface tab but the laptop rather. The keyboard doesn't work well for me in the car or on the train

    • @DavidAVelez1
      @DavidAVelez1  24 дня назад

      I feel that! Windows is so nice and the tablet is so smooth in everything that it does.
      Like a told another commenter,the only thing really is fans whirring up during games and battery life getting eaten up when playing games but otherwise, as a whole package, this thing is great.

    CoPilot+ features are on all Intel, AMD and Snapdragon chips, so this is not a function of the Surface Pro only.
    I would not recommend the X-Plus base model, as the GPU is significantly worse than all rivals. Instead, I recommend the SP11 with X-Elite, although you are talking about $1500+. This will be much more future-proofed and has OLED, which is nice.
    Snapdragon X has been in the news due to very low sales and high returns, so if you do not mind buying refurbs, you can save a lot of money. I have seen many at half price as demand fizzles out as Intel is simply more popular and as good in battery, whilst solid in performance. MS has said an Intel Surface Pro is on the way, so to avoid compatibility issues (the main reason for returns), wait for that.

      @@andyH_England This is a great insight commment! The XElite model is definitely better for GPU usage. I showcased this XPlus model just because I feel like it's more accessible for the common person and still able to do most all things that would be desired by average consumers looking for a holiday gift.
      Awesome information from you, though, thank you!

    Is this the OLED model? You’re killing it by the way!👍

      @PLANETWATERMELON 2 дня назад +1

      Great question because he did call the surface pro elite, which comes with an OLED display, but he also said it was $999 which is not the price for the elite.

      @@steve9348 Mac Mini is genuinely amazing value proposition. BUT, slightly different markets.
      This can be a Desktop PC, A Tablet, and a Laptop.
      Mac Mini is stationary, you know?

    • @sonofage
      @sonofage 24 дня назад

      probably beelink but if only looking at a base set, I would say, mac mini but if you want upgradability , then something like beelink is pretty solid and they're small too. some of them support eGPU too.

    deal breaker for 90% of potential buyers is the proprietary charging

      @DLL-y4p This is a great point! I actually have been using my USBC 65W Charger from my ROG Ally, and also the power banks I have at 65W output also and those have been charging it great honestly. I have used the proprietary charger maybe two or 3 times

    The surface pro 11 is without a doubt the single most useless piece of shit I have had the displeasure of owning. In a business environment it is hopeless. There are no drivers available for most all peripherals such as printers and barcode scanners etc due to the use of the proprietary microsoft processor, it is full of unnecessary windows 11 bloatware and there are no useful connection ports - just the small little new type usb ports which do not allow for connection of anything useful without requiring a full replacement of peripherals at additional unnecessary expense. Do yourself a favour and save your money by staying with the old reliable earlier models. The surface pro 11 is garbage!!!

      I appreciate this feedback as I've been eyeing this to use for work with my virtual desktop application. This makes me think a bit more.
