I grew up in this area. Spent many nights as a high schooler at the swinging bridge. This was awesome to watch and brought back so much nostalgia. I hope you enjoyed it, this its my mental image of Southern Oregon. Great video!
Nice ! Love the vids. Just finished the Steelhead Adventure trail two days ago by myself. The Mcgrew jeep trail was crazy 😂. This route is next on my list.
Enjoy your posts out of all the others and full size pickups to go overloading. I would like to know where you purchased the double swing outs. I currently have a Chevy 2500 crew cab long bed with a utility box set up like a chase truck. I need to find a swing out for spare tire ,jerry cans and maybe some recovery boards. Thanks, Mike
Hey Mike, We have expedition 1 front and rear bumpers installed on the ram. Feel free to visit the website and get in touch if you have any other questions and thanks for the kind words!!
You should see if there is a yellow chain for your saw ,, it cuts quicker ,, otherwise sthil ms 391 or larger ,, I run an 18” bar with a more aggressive chain ,, and can jump from one side to the other and or take a pie cut and get through most anything
its staggering how much of these watersheds have been burned .. then add to all this The McKenzie River Valley .. burned .. The Umpqua River Valley .. burned ..
I live in Ashland, Oregon, and I spend a lot of time up at the confluence of the Siskiyou and Klamath ranges, which is where Mount Ashland and the PCT the Siskiyou crest Road all coexist. Heading west are many areas with serpentine soil, and endemic plants. Honestly, the Illinois river area near Grants Pass is one of the more sketchy places to drive and stay in my experience. I did this route a couple weeks ago. It was my first real "overlanding" trip and it was a blast. Thank you all at OTG for creating such a great route!
Glad you enjoyed it!
As a local i have camped in all his spots, and would never want to be anywhere else. Absolutely beautiful here!!!
Any suggestions for this trail? A couple of us are thinking about doing it here in a couple months.
Such good production quality. Subscribed!
I live in Ashland, can’t wait to do this! Thanks!

quite the adventure, how many trees were in your way? Unlucky with the tire also.....
3 downed trees plus the one we had to cut a bit more for our trucks to fit through.
Do ever go to the east side Region or you only do west side guides
