- Kaytranada-the Haitian-born, Quebec-raised DJ and producer-started out messing with music on the family computer in his basement. He mad underrated
How? His album won the Polaris prize.....Everyone in the know knows who Kay is
He's not underrated lol, he's been around man.
Not at all.
On almost every song/album by any artist there's a comment about how underrated they are.
Just because hes an amazing producer doesnt mean he is underrated
“If you feel like you’re doing your thang, don’t let nobody talk down on you. If you feel driven in your heart & you really love what you do, go for it! Deep down in your heart, you know what you want. You gotta be able to take risks in life. DO OR DIE. What else will you be? Do what you love.” - Paraphrasing Kartranada 💛
Discovered his work a couple months ago, a big leap out of my normal listening, I simply can not get enough. 99.9% is some of the best work I’ve ever heard. What an album, what a dude, what a fucking genius
He's the second coming of the Neptunes'. When he popped off it was incredible, now he is just as good working with the majors
musically kaytra has been far past the neptunes for quite some time tbh
Ty Harris I would disagree but he has incredible range of production this "early" in his career.
He’s so cute! Love that he’s so passionate about music. Representing Haiti! 🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹

one of my favorite producers! really inspires me to develop my own style and find the courage to put myself out there.
I'll say this to those who also make music we know what we struggle with, and we know our weaknesses. Once you feel secure in your strengths then focus on the weaknesses, and let's be honest deep down you know what you should be doing. Much love.
This is genius. NO QUESTIONS
this is sooo inspiring and amazing, seeing kaytranada slowly coming out of his cocoon and showing more and more of his childhood.
