They spoke about every song except the one song that stood out to me... ‘Need It’ with Masego again. It’s INCREDIBLE. This album just showcases how amazing he is at his work. The transitions are so smooth and effortless!!!!

Every song I like, is a remix by Kaytranada. Like I legit cannot listen to the original version of anything he remixed 😭. His version of everything is just better. He fills in those empty spaces in music that people dont always think to, i love that. I can see how it's difficult to rap or sing over some of his stuff if you don't understand music and counts and cues etc. I'm a dancer and its hard to not be basic over his beats because there's so much going on in the music. It has actual layers. Its hard to create to, but its fun and the possibilities are endless with tracks like his.

Good to see him mention Madlib and J Dilla as his main influences. His sample-based stuff, even tho it's dance music centric, makes it obvious that those two really made an impression on him. Album is bandanas. I've never heard Teedra Moses, SiR, Kali Uchis or Tinashe, especially, sound the way they sound, until they hopped on these Kaytranada tracks.
I knew it!! This album has been on repeat and by the time I got to the end, I was like, THAT'S ALL!?! LOL! Glad you're releasing the rest later Kaytranada! Thank you! Thanks for the interview Zane, loved your questions. That Tinashe track is crazy, I want to say favorite but Teedra, Pharrell, Goldlink, are still to tough to compare, so I won't do it. Can't wait to see you on the road.
Why didn’t he ask about the Teedra track?! Dying to hear how it came about ie how they picked the beat, how long it took etc..how it feels to come full circle from the remix..

In the latter half of 2020 now and I've listened to BUBBA much. It's replaced all the parties I would have went to if the pandemic weren't so bad in the U.S.
