It’s taken me 5 years, but this is my 100th video on One Shot Adventures! 🎉 Admittedly this channel has taken a back seat over the last year or so, but I’m committed to finishing this Thailand series in the next few months (new episode is up next week). Spent a ton of time in koh tao and SEA in general - sucks about fizz, was so chilled! That deep house music with cocktails was my favourite spot as well
Thanks for the nice video. I just returned from Ko Tao last week. One of the most wonderful and peaceful places I have been to. Nightlife is up and running and the beaches and underwater world is breathtaking but not as immersive as the Maledives. I am sure I will return to Ko Tao!

@@OneShotAdventures Hi 👋 We did four weeks in Rawai Phuket, one week in Bangkok followed by three weeks in Chiang Rai (very few tourists there). We currently in Krabi in a lovely house we rented for a month between Ao Nang and Kolng Muang. We have had a great time here and looking forward to our next adventures, whatever they may be.😀👍

I lived on this island for 7 years..1998-2005 with a few visa runs every year ... absolutely loved it. . Was just a divers island back then, used to go to samui to get what I needed as it wasn't that developed... got a frew mates from UK who still live there... guess things change once the tourists invade 😆 😂
From what I hear even the locals warn you not to report any crime. That alone is enough to get a pass from me. Beautiful place though! I'll live vicariously through you!

I remember someone commented that this island should be boycotted so whoever maybe responsible for those wont have the ka ching to pay the knuckles. Research people. It maynot have happened to these folks posting vlogs about their amazing visit, but who would guarantee that what happened to those 20 plus folks wont happen to you
Hope while your in SE Asia you stop by Tablas Island Philippines! If you do stop by in Calatrava and we will take you to Lapus Lapus and Tinagong Dagat or hidden lake look it up safe travels!

Normal - I said bye bye to koh Tao in 2010- in the 90‘ we were max 50 tourist on the island and all this organized trips didn’t exsist - well we had a great time on all those places last century- bali , Australia , Philippines, India - to compare it was empt like in the pandemic - that’s why I had the best time of my live during pandemic one last trip to the glorious past. BS it is now everywhere.

Yep - I did say it was March 2022 about 3 times in voiceover. I also put a message about the Fizz Bar reopening in text on screen - not much more I could have done 😅
Just because you been there a few times a nothing happened to you does not mean its safe beat you didnt ask the locals in the bar about all these deaths which they try to blame on the burmese sounds like a place where you could be at wrong place at wrong time an you gonna be in serious trouble

Went to Koh Tao in 05 and in 06. We stayed at Charm Churee Villa each time. We loved our time on the island. Such a beautiful place.

Last time I was in Phi Phi it was still pandemic times, so it wasn't too busy with tourists. I can imagine what it's like normally though!
