Wow, what an amazing island. It has changed so, so much since I was there back in the late 90s. There was no infrastructure or paved roads back then...lol. I need to go back and see for myself the changes to that island. Also try some of that pork breakfast plate.
Thrilled you found it helpful. I’ve been a few times in the last two years and try to visit a new region each time as we’re also thinking of making Thailand a base but haven’t quite found exactly what we’re looking for.
Nam-Pla-Prik or Prik-Nam-Pla, you can call both name.If you like quiet island let’s try Koh Phayam at Ranong Province very nice and quiet beach less tourist.
This island is on my list! I also need to find a spot for a few weeks that has good internet so I can settle down and work for a bit. I thought maybe Hua Hin, do you have any other suggestions?
If you like island,I recommend Koh Chang,Koh Mak,Koh Kood at Trat Province and Koh Samet at Rayong Province that not far from Bangkok…you can search google for information.
The only downside to the islands I just visited was that getting good local food was harder because so many tourists want western food. Do you think any of the places you suggested are better than others for still having lots of good local foods?
Hahaha he is working on this but he has a resting B face and didn’t know it until he saw what he looked like in videos. The funny thing is I know him as such a smiley joker but as soon as the camera is on him he freezes a bit. It takes time to get comfortable so I cut him a break 😊
Is it like in Canada where all waterways are public but the land around it isn’t. So for example if you want to go to an ocean beach and there is private land around it you either have to take a boat to the beach OR if there’s a river that runs into it you can walk down the river until you get to the beach, even if that river is on private land.
@@ayngelina i was there and i'm almost pretty sure that this nice story is fake...If owner there is...the access remain free.. Why do they need to compensate you with something? You simply pay for access so why do they give you "free services" so?r This mandatory buy is just a trick

I thought you’d find it changed so much! Some infrastructure like roads are nice but I hope it doesn’t become overdeveloped
@@ayngelina Sad to see those businesses closed from Covid. Hope they get a chance to recover.
True quality content! Thank you very much, I'm currently planning my journey to Thailand and your video is really helpful. :)

I only eat seafood when I go to island,I don’t like southern food also…lol, you can go to Phuket old town if you want to try original southern food.
Everyone who knows me says I would hate Phuket so I've avoided it.

All the beach in Thailand are public ....A fee for access is only a means for local "mafia" to take you some money...

Because he wants to sell the land for private development but the staff want to make enough money to keep it a reasonable price for locals.
Why promote a place that covers up suspicious deaths?
