    Hi Mrs Imoh!
    You're really doing great!
    Please what can we use to cover/hide seams when using the panelling method?

    • @OluchiImoh
      @OluchiImoh  2 года назад +1

      Hello Bobby, thank you!
      Mashed fondant paste thinly spread on the seams. You can use moulds or smoothen out the seam and cut off the excess Fondant.

    Please ma'am , why is it that foreign countries before covering with fondant ,they coat it very well before applying fondant but we do it less, thanks

    • @OluchiImoh
      @OluchiImoh  2 года назад +1

      Hello Akua, okay, this would depend on a number of things but most importantly the medium they are using for the coating. Ganache to the best of my knowledge isn't done lightly and it's not a light type of coating when used before cakes. I have seen some light buttercream crumbcoating as well on cakes abroad. So, personal preference, the kind of cake you intend decorating and the frosting medium are some that come to mind for now.
      Cheers!
