CQB - HALLWAYS

A Small Clip from our CQB foundation Class.
Highlighting how we slowly layer more tasks onto the students. As more responsibilities are introduced, additional considerations will be expanded upon. Providing too much information early on can over load students new to these principles and becomes counter productive. As the student becomes more comfortable with the task we will introduce pertinent information and provide the "why's" behind these principles.

Who’s staying covering hallways long once the 4 go into the room? How about 3 dump, 4th sucks in threshold (inside room) but covers down hallway from within the room.
Just a thought. Video ends and not a lot of discussion about hallway coverage while dumping.

Rent the hallway, occupy the room. Then the closest one to the doorway picks the door and pushes either laterally or plates the hallway entry. Yes, you are momentarily losing hallway coverage. If you do all things right, there are other guys who keep the train going (free flowing). You may end up abandoning entries or just flushing two guys in. It's pretty simple, just not easy, but you don't lose hallway coverage unless you lose all the guys to their own respecrive rooms (they have a job there; you need to dump more people inside the room, etc).
