  • This course is an environment study where we guide you to find what works & what does not. Our 2 Day Vehicle Tactics Course is designed to provide students with a better understanding of how to utilize vehicles in order to maximize their survivability in vehicle centered engagements. This course is centered around an environment that is organic to everyday life and gives shooters sound tactics and ballistic data to take back to their homes & agencies.

    I've never used that kind of supported position on the the car by canting the rifle and keeping the sling tensioned. I'll try. There is always new and interesting stuff to learn from your videos. Thanks.

    That is exactly why AHT is top of the game. Same washed up bullshit from everybody, while these guys are innovating every year.

    Maybe some AHT branded buffs for the vehicle classes? Glass dust doesn’t do well in the lungs.
    Love the content and looking forward to training with you guys soon 💪🏿

    We were always taught never to look over the hood/trunks or put your head above what you are behind. Look around it. To not give the bad guys an important target like our heads.

      Well there’s two ways of thinking, for a longer range or precision shot like a head , I’d post up but within 50 I’d be back off of my cover because rounds will skip off of hard objects even though car sheet metal isn’t hard , they will skip , 9mm will penetrate a trunk though through and through , so more than likely you’d stack pillars or use a engine , I’m just a guy though take it or leave it lol

      The technique he provides also extends beyond just shooting off of a car. Don't limit your thinking. Techniques are tools to be applied creatively in dynamic situations.

      If the bad guy has the ability to hit your head looking over the hood/trunk they also have the ability to hit your head looking around the hood/trunk. Your head is not invisible now because you’re looking around instead of above. I can still hit your head. Just don’t get too close to your cover and use your judgment (risk v reward) when choosing to expose yourself.

      @@writingonthewalls9052No. You are above the trunk, more is exposed. Take a vcqb class.

      @@handled99 that’s not how that works at all. The fact that you don’t know that means your opinion on the subject is literally worthless.

    What state is this in? Range and woodline is aesthetic

    So looking at the target you put the dot/reticle on the right side for a right handed shooter to hit center? Just clarifying.

    • @gradyholm2183
      @gradyholm2183 Год назад +3

      It’s to account for the optic being higher/above your barrel. It’s called height over bore, the bore being the center of your barrel.
      So by canting the rifle to the side your basically changing your zero or center of aim to the left or right instead of up or down. When aiming at the target you’ll hold your up and down axis to the mid-line if target and shift left or right depending on what side of your gun is canted on.

      Side of magwell = side of Target at distance.

    I've seen videos of the humerus ricocheting off the surface and impacting where you're mounted on the car. Do you disagree with that being a danger?

    • @jw5297
      @jw5297 Год назад +1

      Given I have zero ability to ricochet a bullet onto a target at all let alone with any certainty of accuracy, I would say there is always the potential for a round not accounted for to end up hitting someone, but I would have to venture out and say unless the person doing the shooting under vehicles is practicing that tactic those odds are not a certainty vs being shot laid across a hood.
      Given the ground is full of all kinds of geometrical anomalies wether it be concrete, asphalt, chip Crete, gravel, or just dirt, the odds you're gonna be John Wicked via ricochet are pretty unlikely in an intentional means
