I remembered me and another stranger at the arcade made it from the start to the final boss, I died during the last battle but the stranger kept going,then he won. It was satisfying and the crowd around cheered as well.
I completed this more than 12 years ago, and what a thrill it was as a kid. Though it doesn't follow the Silent Hill formula you can't deny it's a damn fun game.
Dude. It's a spin-off. They just take a popular title and make a lil' light-gun rail shooter featuring some locations and characters. It baffles me that people actually take it seriously like it's an insult to the series. Like I've seen Murican fans of SH go batshit crazy hating on this game because it's 'nothing like silent hill should be'. Like their IQ is so low that they somehow think anyone ever meant this as a true Silent Hill sequel or something rather than a really fun little arcade spinoff.

Its already hard with the puzzles and also because it is an survival horror, but if the games had the same ammount of enemies that this arcade game has, no one could survive Silent Hill

I wouldn't imagine that it was much easier to shoot quickly with an AimTrak light gun compared with the real thing. I like how they question how many monsters there are yet don't question the unlimited Amos they're carrying around I know it's a arcade game but feels kinda weird since ammo was kinda the holy grail in silent hill
Excluding the dialogue and bullet rain, this still managed to be class Silent Hill atmospheric weirdly enough. 1 hour is crazy long playtime too for an arcade shooter.

Good job with the audio balancing. Other recordings of this game I've seen have shown that getting the audio right is really difficult. Now, if only somebody could figure out how to make it possible to get the UFO ending in a playthrough.
Actually, I didn't really do anything with the audio balance, aside from probably trying to make sure the sound wasn't clipping from the recording volume being set too loud, although that isn't always avoidable. Looking back at this, I think the sound effects are a little too loud compared with the music and voices. These things aren't always easily adjusted, though.
Oh my god...this just 100% defeats the idea of "Silent Hill" to have a shooter like this. It seems kinda fun cause it's themed after SH...but ya, definitely no Silent Hill game.

If silent hill made an arcade game with item management with horror atmosphere, a good story, good voice acting and puzzle solving instead of full blast house of the dead style it could be a plausible
No, the cheesy voice acting is what I liked about these old japanese horror games.

Imagine in a horror movie your inside and suddenly saw two people shooting buttload of bullet around 81638163 bullets wasted shooting all directions making so loud noises like they don’t give a shit about giant monsters with a single handgun shooting rapidly like a mini gun
I guess they live in a motel because they spent everything on bullets beforehand
