I own this bike and at 5’ 11” inches, I love it. I did pull the ape bars toward me (the high ape bars on a long ride are tiresome), changed out the seat , crash bar, sissy bar with luggage, auxiliary front lighting and LED turn signals. I have yet to try it out on our version of Snake Pass called The Tail of the Dragon (318 curves in 11 miles). Nice video!
I was waiting for you to do the Street Bob review. I did suggest you do one in a comment a while back. I have the Softail Standard 107, crap name, should be called Street Bob Classic. Got a stage one and put forward controls on even though I am only 5'4 because even for me the mid controls were too cramped. I was used to forwards on the 48. I think this bike handles better than the 48, vibrates less and just a much better bike. I swapped the bars too for some more chunky angular ones, same height.
Yes I remember you telling me to do a street bob :))) The standard is a good looking bike. Recently saw one for sale that had been done with tbars 👌🏻👌🏻
@@MakaJerycho kinda the idea. The farther your hands get from the upper triple tree the less counter steer feel you have. I raced for years and ape hangers look cool but don't cut it for me.
I got off my 94 FXDL with over a 100K miles, also bought new for my 2022 Street Bob. Only the second bike I've bought new. First one without a carburetor or throttle cables. I'll have this one a long time. Like it. Working on a 95 Sportster that will have a 104" engine among other mods. It'll probably need 2 gas tanks...
🤭b&h racing that I used to Vlog out of built a sporty with a 100”+ engine. They had to amend the housing to suit. Think the kit came from Revolution. They use it for drag racing. 10 second 1/4 motor. Just use a peanut tank as off throttle it’ll be fine. It’s on full throttle it’ll chew fuel 🙂
@@MakaJerycho yeah, this bike is headed the street tracker route. It's a complete build, nobody's kit. If I have to fuel up before heading to town and again to get home, that's fine. The bike has one mission. To shut down the Sportster bashers.
Fuck and yes spring to mind! And we literally ended both vlogs exactly the same without even knowing 🤣🤣🤣. And how many times did you call it a donkey 🤣🤣
Thats alot of engine for that bike,i had 107 in mine and its night and day from twin cam 88,96,103 ect i lost mine in a bad accident from death wobble at 60mph be careful
Had mine 20 months great first bike for me, although a learning curve having not risen in 13 years, i got on well with mids, but did buy an engine guard that i stick my feet on, another must do was Saddleman seat upgrade, stock pillion sucks. Stage one and chrome mini grenades gave it a bit of attitude, tall sissy bar and a headlamp fairing all makes for comfort on longer trips, the main thing to help my riding was pulling the bars back 2-3 inches, so much easier and less of a stretch. Its a very torquey engine certainly not shy and its nimble and easy to flick around love it done 5000 miles now. We also have our eyes on a Fatbob too at some point, look ace and rides great.
just bought a new 2022 bob today my first harley, can't wait to get it out on the roads
You will love it 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
I'm 6 foot 2, I got rid of the mid controls on my softtail standard and put foward controls on mine. 10X better now to ride,
Sounds good to me
No way 6ft 2 works with mids
Must of been painful 🙏🏻
@@MakaJerycho the day they told me foward controls arrived. Was epic. Back order took long time.
Just put some on mine yesterday. Now I just need to wait for warmer weather
Which forwards did you go for? I bought some cheap ones to see if there for me, need a good set now as I deffo prefere them

We had one of these come across Europe with us in 2022, fairing, luggage, larger apes, different seat.
Absolutely carved up the curves on the Alps!
I just got my Cdl and landed a job and next off I’m going for my motorcycle license and want this bad boy
Do it 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

🫣thank you
Poke around there’s plenty stupid sh&t on this channel
@@MakaJerycho ….going through them all matey……commented last night aswell about trying a few today….left you my verdict👍🏻👍🏻
Mine' getting minimal mods. A two brothers 2 into one pipe, a high flow air filter element, and bars from a Soft tail Slim.
Done!🏁
Ooo Hollywood style bars on a bob would make it into an absolute weapon!!! But like a track racer

Found two more things I need to fix. The very, long shift lever. Not sure what to do yet. And that stupid side mount license plate mount! Gotta go!

Sportster that’s been bobbered
I like your vest we’re did you get it?
Bobhead :)
Put a s&s 475 cam it's the best and will really pump up the power may b 120 hp
120hp in a street bob!!! Lethal but fun
