Versa Films did this video as well as a bunch of their previous videos. They are always stunning and have great storytelling and attention to detail in the scenes and characters. Check out Constance for another Versa/Spiritbox masterpiece (grab some tissues).
that's josh singing the backup vocals. the creature is a person covered in barnacles. you see at the end of the video courtney washed up on the shore. it's probably her covered in the barnacles. the scenes of her in the dress walking around is more than likely her ghost.
that's josh singing the backing harmonies. also, the creature covered in barnacles is probably courtney's real body and the vision of her walking around is her ghost. at the end of the video you can see her body washed up on the shore.
Absolutely - something else that has stuck in my mind about that portion of Too Close/Too Late since I learned of it, is that as well as Josh, Mike Stringer also sang in it. That’s practically unheard of for Mike! It all sounded great, though.

In my opinion, one reason the video’s so good is that it’s by Dylan Hryciuk (Versa Films), based in Canada. Always love his work with Spiritbox.

Josh, the Bassist, is finally getting to show more of his VOCAL power level in this song.
You can also hear him in "Too Little, Too Late."
