There’re many museums in Kuwait such as but not limited: Kuwait museum (Greek and Arab monuments discovered in Kuwait) - Dar Al Athar Al Islamiya (Unique Islamic jewelries) - Bait Al Sadow (Kuwaiti fabrics) - Museum of Invasion - Museum of Qurain House (The Kuwaiti Resistance) - Tareq Museum (Unique Islamic & Arabian antiquities, artifacts and ancient manuscripts + oldest copy of the Quran).
Great Video Mike and Heera. I’d love to see a video discussing the process it took you to get a job in Kuwait things like Application, interview and settling in because I’m thinking of moving out of the UK after graduation.
Arabic Mike Marina mall has lovely restaurants by its port and riding bikes or going for walks there is always nice; especially at night. I also love Salwa Park & Shaheed Park. They’re both quite nice. Shaheed is quite new but it’s very nicely designed. Salwa park is across from my school so I’ve spent my entire life going there for PE lessons or just to hang after school with my friends. It may be a little run down, but its grass area is beautiful and it has some of the oldest trees in Kuwait (which are PERFECT for climbing). There are also the new museums and the old one that was designed to look like Kuwait streets in the olden days. There’s the opera house. We’ve had some awesome celebrities perform here; I WENT TO SEE STING! The scientific center has some awesome animals to see and learn about, though I don’t recommend the Kuwait Zoo... Those are just a few suggestions. I’m only 13, so I have my entire life to experience more things, but being Kuwaiti, I’ve lived here my entire life, so you should take my word for it when I tell you those places are awesome! That’s all I can think of right now!
I don't know if it's the language barrier or the lake of knowledge of kuwait that I see in people you interview. I mean they make kuwait look so shallow, but I don't blame them because we're not used to speak positively about our country.. I think you're doing a better job explaining life in kuwait than Kuwaitis simply because you are a positive person .. keep up the good work 👍
For more scientific places you can visit Abdullah Al-Salem Museum its new and really beautiful one of the best museums in the world .. and Jaber Al-Ahmad Opera it have some restraunts and you can visut the musical shows there .. welcome back to Kuwait 💙
found your channel 3 days ago, small subscriber base compared to other big channels but i see that your really work hard on it both the content and the quality is really really good. keep it up ^^

Actually souq al-mubarakiya was named after a Kuwaiti Ameer ( president ) called Mubarak Al-Sabah he ruled Kuwait from 1896 to 1915. It was basically the center of trade prior to the discovery of oil.

I used to live in Kuwait (for 6 years) and here’s my take on it: it’s an OK country. I enjoy the shopping, the food and the music. But that’s about it. I don’t enjoy the people. I really really don’t. Of all the Kuwaiti friends I had, only one is humble and kind. I don’t enjoy their attitude towards expatriate workers. They tend to treat us “white people” very well but that doesn’t apply to workers from South-Eastern Asia. I don’t like that they don’t teach their children manners or respect. And finally, I don’t like that the streets are always congested. In essence, I would say DONT visit Kuwait because there’s really not much to do/see. If you enjoy shopping and Arabic culture, head to Dubai.
The Mubarkiya Souq was named after Sheikh Mubarak alKabeer which ruled Kuwait in 1898 But before that year it was named AlMohamadiya Souq & before that it’s named AlFourtha which means the market ..
I worked in Kuwait for 24 years as a teacher but the ministry of education robbed almost half my pension 4256 KD ( 14000$) when resignation under the name of indeptness which I knew nothing about . And when I made a complaint they refused it verbally on the telephone.
best if you visit the whole arabic golf on one trip . cuz kuwait and others arabic golf countries doesn't have alot places to visit. i mean if you coming from far away . kuwait will be a short trip ever. like one week will be so boring for you. thanks and have fun.
