It's cold and pouring down with rain here in New Zealand. Perfect knitting weather ☁️ I've just found out one of my daughters is expecting, my first Grandchild, so excited! I can see lots of baby knits will be on the needles soon :) Love seeing you guys, such a lovely couple of ladies ❤
So good to spend my knitting time with you lovely ladies today. 🎉 So surprised to hear my name and that I won the giveaway 🎉🎉. Thank you for all you bring to this community.❤
Another great episode and so many beautiful knits thank you! One thing, for Diana is a suggestion. I also wind my cakes off the skein from the swift and they come out pretty tight. I learned from Andrea Mowry to wind again. Don’t want all of that in yarn as it stays in the cake. 💕 Lorien
Favorite from Middlemarch: the calendar hath not an evil day for souls made one by love, and even death were sweetness, if it came like rolling waves while they two clasped each other and foresaw no life apart. Another very good book is The Tea Girl Of Hummingbird Lane by Lisa See.
I always enjoy watching your podcast. Y'all are definitely in my top 2 knitting podcasts to watch. It's a tie between The Fruitful Hands and The Bakery Bears.
Thank you for a another wonderful podcast! Diana, I'm like you - I'd rather knit a whole new pair of socks than spend time mending a sock with a hole in it - isn't that silly :) Kaity, you look radiant! Best wishes to you both.
Oh ladies, what a sweet treat to see you both. You bring such joy and inspiration with every episode. Diana’s FO jumper in cumin is beautiful. It would have been too intimidating, but after you explained the construction of knitting armholes as you went has inspired me. Best of all, I have a yarn already in my stash, so win-win. Pattern is in my queue. 🎉 Katie your WIP shawls are both so pretty. It’s wonderful you’re feeling better and can pick up your needles again. I did ACTUALLY laugh out loud at “I’m not wearing anything”. Hey now, didn’t realize it was that kinda show. 🫣😉 Too cute! Glad you didn’t have any damage during the storm. Blessings from Hilton Head Island SC. 💜
I always enjoy your podcasts--and I'm so glad you are able to knit again, Kaity! Diana, I love your vest!! I just finished the Moby Slipover, and I'm on a vest-quest lately. Although, I seem to be gift knitting lately--making Lego blankets and sweaters for my grandsons for birthdays and Christmas. Stay well and safe in your storms.
So lovely to catch up with you ladies again! All of your projects are beautiful. I don't know if you've mentioned it before and I somehow missed it, but is Sister C a sister/aunt/friend? I've been super curious! 😁 She sounds very classy!! I feel the struggle on finding maternity clothing, Kaity!! It has been so hard for me this time around. I've definitely been taking advantage of amazon's free returns. The number of things I've bought and returned is ridiculous! And two of my siblings are getting married this year so I have wedding appropriate clothing to find too! 🤦🏼♀😁
I coming very late to your podcasts as shared by a Lovely Yarn which is also new to me. I am kind of homebound these days due to the need for a hip replacement July 10. Guess it's my way of celebrating my 70th Birthday soon. HaHa! I figure my lack of mobility now and in recovery what better to do than actually knit and finish a pair of socks! Question is do you prefer Magic Loop or DPNs. I have only done a sock part way years ago with DPNs. Maybe you know a good tutorial for Magic Loop, if so please share. Thanks!, Lou Ann
I enjoy your podcasts! What is the name of the Isabell Kraemer cardigan you are test knitting? The pattern picture went by so fast, I missed the name. It’s so pretty! And is it fingering weight? Thanks, and please keep sharing! ❤
