      Foootball died when they began tearing down the football and baseball stadiums, and began building these luxury stadiums that only hold either football or baseball only. You began to see more vandalism than ever, like the home team’s “mark” in the end zones and at the 50 yard line all colorful and distracting. If not that, you see advertisements everywhere more than ever before

      I especially miss the old dual-purpose football and baseball “cookie cutter” stadiums and places like Mile High, which would later be the home field for the Rockies when they entered the national league. To look at Mile High, it doesn’t look like they would be able to convert it to baseball, but they did

    • @BruceWayne-ri4wr
      @BruceWayne-ri4wr 9 месяцев назад

      Exactly I always relate the fall of America with what sports is doing right now it's nothing but a bunch of soft pansies that want to cry racism and victimhood as they're making $40 million a year it's hard to even watch this was when America was great if people want to know when they say make America great again or whatever when was America great right here 1989 America was great we were at our peak there was no racial problems nobody talked about this stuff in sports it was not even an issue and now that's all you hear about is race this race that discrimination is discrimination that I can't stand it nobody's discriminate against anybody unless it's white people get discriminated against but this was awesome

    • @BruceWayne-ri4wr
      @BruceWayne-ri4wr 9 месяцев назад

      Also this was when the AFC was like the JV League to the NFC to this day because they lost those 14 super bowls in a row I always think of the AFC as inferior to the NFC even though now they're basically equal lol I have never been able to shake that because I grew up with the AFC being so weak and they weren't actually weak at the top because the Buffalo bills were awesome they just for some reason couldn't win those games but they were an awesome football team but those bronco teams were basically just John elway against the other 53 players that's why they got killed lol

    Thanks for the hard work to get this uploaded. This was on my 15th birthday and it was a family tradition to decorate for Christmas every year on that day. My mom had an old Victorian-style living room and didn't want a TV in there, but I begged her to let me move the little B&W from the kitchen so I could watch and decorate at the same time. This game was really hyped up in New York and I didn't want to miss it. Turned out to be a classic! Stupid Flipper Anderson ruined an otherwise fun season.
