35 years ago today, a great Monday Night matchup Between the Giants & 49ers. People talk about the 1990 matchup as being the best. This one. Was just as good, the final score does not reflect how close this game was. The book “No Medals For Trying” by Jerry Izenberg talks about the post game reaction and preparation for the Giants next game 12/03/1989 against the Eagles. Check it out if you can...

We go back to the 1993 Wild Card game that was L.T.’s last home game. Third Quarter, trailing 10-3. Rodney Hampton sprints 51 yards for the game tying touchdown. Later in the 3rd, Hampton gives the Giants the lead for good as he barrels in from 2 yards out, 17-10 Giants. 4th quarter, Vikings backup quarterback Sean Salisberry is sacked by Mike Fox. A few plays later Salisberry connects with Chr...

Gene talking about liking horror movies and cartoons paul: "i fantasize about being a massive crime fighter"🙂
“And crying” -Ace 🤣😭
Ace is fantastically hilarious during this interview. And yes, Gene and Paul are less than happy with him, though I did see Paul laughing as well at times.
Brutal three weeks for The Giants in 89. San Francisco on MNF. Philadelphia on a short week & then at Denver.
Wish we had the conversations between commercial breaks
How great was to see the cowshits with a 2-12 record, jajajajajajsja. Bums.
buddy ryan, what a bad loooser, old jediondus fart.
I just love that Kiss was eliminiated to Ace's humour! We gotta laugh to that! Tuch a great guitarist :)
Robert Harris my uncle great fumble.
One of the greatest championship games ever played. These two teams gave us what football was all about. The Giants were one of the few teams, if not the only team, who not only gave the Niners problems but could beat them. I love how the ending was not dictated by the refs. There wasn't any controversial call because of a late hit. The players played hard and on this day the better team won. It was an awesome Rivalry with the Niners winning in 84, the Giants winning in 85 and twice in 86 and then the niners winning in 88, 89 and then played perhaps the greatest low scoring 7-3 game in the history of MNF, and then to follow it up with this ending in 90. What a show it was indeed.
My grandfather flew in the 8th and I will never forget the stories and the pictures he always shared with me He is gone now but will never be forgotten for what he sacrificed for this country.🇺🇸
Super rare seeing Rodney Harrison and Lawyer Milloy on the same team at the same time.
Gene played the four string fish!
Watch Gene. He wanted to laugh so bad at what Ace says at 25:14.
Gene plays a fish!? 😂
The first to lip-sync during a "LIVE" whatever
I remember watching this in 79, And Tom`s "Bass" Player comment always stuck with me.
I watch this video every time the chiefs beat the bills in the playoffs. As a Bills/Yankees fan it makes my heart happy.
I love how Paul says Peterjoined us then Ace joined us like they were already outsiders or Hired hands
Leonard Marshall changed NFL History. Aside from costing The 49ers a third straight Super Bowl he essentially ended the career of Joe Montana as a 49er.
The next day, the bills destroyed the jets 30-7 on the same field to get to 2-1, tying them with the dolphins for 1st place in the afc east
The #1 defense in the nfl vs. the afc's 2nd best defensive unit
when you don’t party , people who party will annoy you…and vice versa…
When I was little I thought Gene and David Berkowitz were the same person
No Threepeat! No Threepeat!
Coleman is a clown
This really reveals Gene's insecure inability to let a compelling person be on camera and just simply sit aside.
Van Halen was worse in drunking interviews at this time.
Where did this Hulk Hogan disappear too
As a NYG fan from the Syracuse area I was serving overseas in the USAF. With Desert Storm in progress SBXV was a treat. I remember it being about 2:00 am over there. What a great game. Great video. 🇺🇸🫡
Thank You
Sorry I'm not trying to bug you but I'm just asking I know I asked 3 months ago but when you upload your next video can u please upload the 1994 American bowl full preseason game in Berlin between the giants and the chargers if not that's ok I understand
"Yeah, it was a heartbreaking loss but the Bills said they wouldn't mind being in this position again." Me, a time traveler: Buddy, you're not going to believe this!
“The silver anniversary Super Bowl came out sterling silver”
Biggest play of the game was the safety not turning into a possible touchdown Hoss (and his mustache) holding onto the ball was the difference between 12-3 and 17-3
I always forget about the play in the first quarter where Taylor clearly fumbled by the ref decided the whistle had blown. 49ers got all the calls. But the better TEAM won.
Nice
reliving my childhood... thanks for the upload!
Another absolutely incredible one of a kind rare upload. I love it. Thanks for all your work buddy. I can't wait to watch it tomorrow!!!
Thanks buddy, I was sitting on this one for a while
Gary Reasons (To Believe)
Everything had a simpler better feel to it back then
Ruben Sierra had quite the swing
Ummm... Did I hear Paul say he thought he was going to get in trouble for boning a 16 yr old hooker? No one blinked an eye😳
12:13 his laugh is so damn funny.
Real NFL and Real broadcasting
Bass Tom? Like the fish? Goon!
I never bought into this grifter band when they first came out. My neighbors mom made a kiss costume for him and we all laughed at him, we were into zep and Van Halen stating out and kiss just never sounded good compared to the other 70’s bands. People just liked the cult shit that kiss was. Fast forward I call the band kiss my ass now.
Ace in this interview was the epitome of what a rock star should be not some pompous ego maniac like Gene and Paul. Loved it when. Tom asks Ace if he's some spaceman. "No I'm actually a plumber" Priceless
4:12: the now late, great Greg Gumbel narrating (he was the studio man in that season on the Tiffany Network for college football) promos for Tennessee/Alabama and USC/Notre Dame.
The audio is delayed
A while back RUclips made me edit a few things out, that threw the whole video out of sync
I watched this a few times and you can see even back then that Gene and Paul are very diff people BUT Paul is looking sideways at Ace as hes off his face a little but having fun and cant be straight like Paul and Gene and its sort of two sides or even three as Peter was struggling like Ace. Ace's infectious laugh and love of the moment is so great and the other end is Genes no nonsense business acumen and Paul its all about the show and performance where a artist like Ace, its about the music skill and complex melodies and rifts and solos so you can see how ace will want to drift away naturally.
ACE stole it !!! Well done !!!
