Stop bleeding from inside, we are alive And it's more than enough to Paint the walls that are white Can we show the ones who are blind? *SHOW THEM THAT WE'RE NOT BLIND!!!!*
I guess this is why you hear the actual alphabet song being played on piano at the end of Hell Below, going into Omega (the song with this piece in it!)
bret flint Well yeah, they meant that's why the song at the end of Hell Below is the Alphabet song instead of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, because this is the Alphabet in Omega.
This is just... perfection imho. I've learned to love this genre, and it all happened when I started listening to Periphery. I can't wait for your new album to be out, you got my full support!
Philippines hell yeah !! Saw you guys last may in Manila - best performance of the day/night out of the 12 bands present. Amazing tone - loved it. Matt
it is indeed amazing Alex from 8 years ago! Juggernaut album was my favourite one and one of them is omega which featured this. Now if only I can went back in time and tell u this experience, well this sorta does it for me ig
Try out Jake Bowen's solo project. He has a cool ambient chill sound with groovy/jazzy guitar sounds mixed. I really loved it, and I think it suits the style you are looking for. Cheers!
Blackmachine guitars are crafted by a single luthier (Doug). Unfortunately the demand is much higher than the supply, as the waiting list extends more than 3 years and it takes time for each guitar to be made. But the end result is a very well built instrument from what I've heard.
I love his singing, and Josh even said he doesn't have a problem with Spencer's voice. He's just saying he just prefers instrumental songs right now. I can understand it because I really enjoy hearing people create emotions just instrumentally. I love my Animals As Leaders, Angel Vivaldi, and Intervals xD. And just to reiterate in case there is any confusion, I love Spencer's singing and I can't wait to buy Juggernaut :DDD
Those diminished chords going up in the end totally sound like a part of the new tristram song in diablo 3 with all this reverb. This is an amazing part, I hope to hear the rest of it in Juggernaut.
Adding on to what you said: It's also within context of which the tone is being used in. There's a video on RUclips where a person states his point by recording probably some atrocious tones (like an unplugged Squier Tele) and applying it to recorded music and proper context to allow it to compliment the composition. People seem to hate the super gritty extremely heavy distortion but when placed in a heavy metal song, they love it. Same with super spacy reverby echoey clean guitar.
Never take spencer out! The lyrics give the music extra meaning and in addition, he is better than the singer of any other band, with that range and tone! NEVER fall into the swamp of instrumental bands! Frak the gods wouldn't be half the song without vocals! Sincerely, a lead guitarist O_.
well, i have a 1987 strat, and i really love her, but, the sound of the guitar on this video (and on clean metal guitars) is particular and deep, i like so much that sounding from periphery.. besides that, i think that will be great to see a vid from misha playing a strat! good job mark
I'm so glad I found this again. To hear it "Omega" and all the progression leading up and following, it makes my emotions and my mind in general ejaculate every time I hear it.
This has turned into one of my favorite comment sections ever.
Hell to the yeah
Would you say it was a * ahem * MEGA comment section?
Misha will you please put out a play through of remain indoors??
I honestly don't get the BTBAM thing, its just a 4 chord progression on a clean patch I made. But whatever helps you sleep at night I guess...
You tell them!
Yeah!
That'll show 'em!
It's crazy that piece was on hold for 3 years..
so is Chocolate Flobs, I think renamed on P3 but that's even older than Absolomb I believe. crazy..so hyped for this album
You can find the breakdown in Reptile as an old Bulb demo
@@Calamitous the focus hour, that is. Also one of my fav bulb tracks. Along with unleash the pwnies (which really has to become a piripiri track!)
Embrace the feeling of a soul within, realize that this is what we need.
He is, he has been doing a fantastic job!
You dudes used this in the best way that you possibly could have. What a song! after waiting 2 years, I am content :)
+Will ! but that laugh at the end though is life
i dont get it
What song was this in?
@@joshwestlake375 Omega
@@joshwestlake375Omega. Easily one of their best songs. Only beaten by racecar imo
Everything Mrak does for Periphery sounds like the Final Fantasy soundtrack that never was. So beautiful ;_;
For anyone wondering, he's playing "Omega" and this part is at 8:01.
Someday when we write an album to your specific tastes we will definitely keep that in mind haha!
You done did that like 5 times now man. Live free!
The alphabet? Don't you mean the OMEGAbet?
This is top tier
This is one of my favourite guitar riffs of all time. I always come back to watch this video every now and then.
Stoop bleeding on the inside!
we are alive!
Osa the Great and we have more than enough.
To paint the walls
That are white!
Can we tell them we're not blind
Stop bleeding from inside, we are alive
And it's more than enough to
Paint the walls that are white
Can we show the ones who are blind?
*SHOW THEM THAT WE'RE NOT BLIND!!!!*
That's what I love about Periphery. Beautiful songs. These guys really do touch my soul.
Two years later this is the main theme of Juggernaut, mind blown.
not the main theme
It's a recurring motif
EternallyInebriated It happens once lol
JonathanAmaralMusic Leave him be he's eternally inebriated
JonathanAmaralMusic It's recurring if you listen to the album as many hundreds of times as I have.
This is one of the most beautiful things I have ever heard. Can't wait to hear the finished product.
YOU ARE THE ONES WHO ARE THE BALL-LICKERS
no
I will lick your balls as much as you want Misha, just keep making great music!
I guess this is why you hear the actual alphabet song being played on piano at the end of Hell Below, going into Omega (the song with this piece in it!)
HOLY SHIT I NEVER EVEN CAUGHT THAT :o
I didn't catch it cause I was thinking of twinkle twinkle. The alphabet song makes a lot more sense
This song is actually in towards the end of the track omega
bret flint Well yeah, they meant that's why the song at the end of Hell Below is the Alphabet song instead of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, because this is the Alphabet in Omega.
EraseMyParanoia They are actually the same song lol
Hmmm reminds me a tiny bit of Zelda~
Very nice. Happy to know that it made it onto the next album.
Omg! This dude should join the band!
he is in the band now lol here to deliver the news
We did it to piss you off. Kinda annoyed that it took you well over half a year to notice, but better late than never! I will sleep well tonight!
when I see mark in a phillipines shirt, I think of spencer singing kelly clarkson
Tyler & Jenn he is from the Philippines though. XD
Tyler & Jenn same lol
Mark, the shirt. The best merch you could ever own.
This is just... perfection imho. I've learned to love this genre, and it all happened when I started listening to Periphery. I can't wait for your new album to be out, you got my full support!
Beginning: Am (with a lot of C, B, F, E (pentatonic)), A-flat
0:25 - end: Em CM7 A-flat G7-flat9 Em Am9 A-flat G7-flat9
Mrak, reppin' the Philippines with his shirt!
I love those chords at the final bit and the FX !! wow.
I love that patch you are using! That guitar as well, great tone!
Philippines hell yeah !! Saw you guys last may in Manila - best performance of the day/night out of the 12 bands present. Amazing tone - loved it. Matt
This shit's OMEGA!
EMBRACE THE FEELING OF A SOUL WITHIN, REALIZING THIS IS WHAT WE NEEEEEED
I love how mark uses his thumb to bar the top strings. Very interesting style!
I'm so happy I learned this progression a few days ago. I can not wait to hear this full song, it's going to be amazin!
it is indeed amazing Alex from 8 years ago! Juggernaut album was my favourite one and one of them is omega which featured this. Now if only I can went back in time and tell u this experience, well this sorta does it for me ig
EMBRACE THE FEELING OF THE SOUL WITHIN, REALIZE THAT THIS IS WHAT WE NEEEEEEEDDDD
I could listen to guitar music like this all day long. Very inspiring :)
oh my, that progression is pure bliss.
The chord climb at 0:47 just made me think of the Diablo Tristram theme. I approve
I laugh every time I watch this. Love these guys.
I would like to hear to a whole album of such stuff.. :) I think I'll google some jazzy ambient guitar stuff.. any ideas?
Try out Jake Bowen's solo project. He has a cool ambient chill sound with groovy/jazzy guitar sounds mixed. I really loved it, and I think it suits the style you are looking for. Cheers!
Thanks for the tip! I will look into it
Must listen to buckethead - colma.
T.R.A.M.
Checkout Exivious, not a lot of ambiance but some and they definitely got jazz.
Wow....this is beautiful....
"Working on some new Periphery material with Mraky!"
"new Periphery material"
"Periphery material"
Periphery
Probably the best clean tone I've ever heard
Probably the best answer I've ever seen
Holy hell that was actually wonderful.
Love Mark's skills
Mark's awesome as always with the riffing 🤘😎 specially that feeling chords
This reminds me so much of something Thrice would do, but it in the best way possible.

That sounds so awesome, you can tell they've been touring with BTBAM!
This is beautiful.
thats a really cool jazz progression

Awesome, great rift keep working on that!
Mrak's fitting in nicely!
This is the most beautiful thing I have ever heard in my pathetic life.
very relaxing...cool passage man, thanks.

Damn this is some really nice nu-metal. Keep it guys up!
just like the shows, great music , great fun
0:27 sounds pretty Blackwater Park-esque with that up/down slide into the next chord. very nice. can't wait to hear it on Juggernaut!
the outro piano progression from the leper affinity
It's a Blackmachine, actually, and therefore he will never be able to get his hands on one haha.
just wow, those chord voicings are perfect

Wow that tone is effing sensational!

That guitar is beautiful
This really reminded me final fantasy for some reason. Right until the very ending where Mark was joking around. But seriously. beautiful.
That's the name of the 6.5 minute song this section is from!
I would sell my soul for his gear , tones, and skills
Sounds great for an interlude
that last bit is good
Mrak's face when it goes into the polka riff, oh my sides.
I'm so glad I found this again. To hear it "Omega" and all the progression leading up and following, it makes my emotions and my mind in general ejaculate every time I hear it.
That guitar is amazinggg
Where did you come up with that? I really hope Just because is on the album!
Sounds awesome
Misha, do you know your set list for the summer slaughter tour yet? See you in LA! Man hug.
