***VIDEO EDIT: There is a chance at getting artifacts from any track level under 50, not just 29 or 39, but the odds increase significantly from 50 onwards.***
I appreciate sharing this information with people who may not know of these lower-risk ways to move track, but "without PvPing" actually being "while PvPing and hoping no one shows up" is kinda funny.
For the Control Point method for sure, but with Cleave now, and the new Fast Travel Points, if you play it safe, you can pretty much guarantee no problems with PVP protection timers.
Thanks for the video it is very useful. Funnily enough I just started trying to level up pvp track yesterday using the faction quest method but in a different area to the one you used. Will have to try your route out. I’m used to a massive grind in pvp - it took me 6 months to get to grand overlord in eso by doing pvp in cyrodiil. What stops me from participating in PvP in new world is not having a clue how to build a character for pvp - so if possible it would be great if you could do a video on that topic. By the way I am a console player so new to this game.
Glad it helped. (: Some people are mentioning they have gotten artifacts on random tracks before 50, so the grind might not be so bad. I'm the same, I like to build my character before jumping into PVP. I feel like I am not good enough at PVP to make videos on building characters for it. There's some really good PVP creators out there tho like Trick Trick.
So the last patch notes mention PvP artifacts can be rewarded at any level now, does that mean it's ANY level, even before the old requirement of 20 tracks? I hate the pvp grind but if I don't have to get to 20 tracks to get artifacts I want finally, that might be worth returning!
As far as I'm aware, you only have 2 chances at artifacts before 50, then really high odds from there onwards. It's a hefty grind, but if you use the methods in the video, you can avoid a lot of PVPing.
So this guide was intended for non seasonal servers. I'm not sure how it would work on them, especially the current one since it's PVP always on for it.
Just do OPR in 500con tank set and build your teams tent so your team does more damage. Sure people will still try to kill you but pvers are unsung heroes with tent buffs and spawn points in opr.
Yea, I linked at the end to a video where I go over how to OPR as a more PVE player to still be a big help to your team, but avoid a lot of PVP. I mainly went over how to build up your bases through PVE methods and get resources for the PVPers, I did miss out on making the character super chonky though so you survivor more, good tip. (:
This video is misinformation. The season 7 patch notes clearly state that, quote: "Artifacts are more likely to show up at all levels", and again, quote : "Artifacts are significantly more likely to roll on every level after PvP Track level 50". Upvote this so people have the correct information. I got the Nimble coat at level 9.
If that's the case then New World database has it wrong, but they do have access to the back end of the game. I have heard of another person getting an artifact earlier as well though. I've gotten a few track levels on my alt so far with no luck, so I'd like to see the odds. Zelenin is a coder and he looked up the odds for tracks 50 onwards from the back end, so maybe it's just the 1-50 that's changed. Will have to ask him if he's able to get the odds on that.
Ok so i was playing with some company members 2 days ago and did a free war (we are on a dead server and took zone occupied by a company that left) and afterwards someone said 'oh whats this? Serenity?' everyone immediately started with 'dont ask questions just take it' etc and someone asked 'what track' to which the reply was 'i just finished 10'... I dont know why they would lie if they werent on it coz im pretty sure they are a newer player but yeah, TRACK 10!! Iv also heard that someone got an artifact at 14 too but not 100% sure about that but either they have changed something more than the bullshit 'only drops on 29, 39, etc' change they seem to have semi revoked this season or if its somehow just broken but just wanted to put the information out there
You're the second person I see saying this. It would be nice if that is the case, I just wish they were more clear as I made 2 videos now saying this is how the drop system works. 😂
@NewbWorld i honestly dont know why they changed it in the first place, it was always EVERY 3rd checkpoint after 20 tracks completed had a chance which makes so much more sense to me 🤷
I was getting trolled in great cleave. Where you drop the item off near the cliff. Fire mage hiding in top of the hill hitting you so you cannot get quest finished. He pretended to be a new then mercd me lol. I moved into other goals after that.
@NewbWorld i tried it yesterday and it seems to work. I haven't leveled up my riding at all because I'm to focused on other things but I'm sure it's a good quality of life thing to do
@Caribuu yea, it'll allow you to get to certain fast travel points before timers expire, especially if you utilize the road. Then like getting the top tier charm for road dash speed will help a lot as well.
@NewbWorld That's a fair point only way to do it and maybe be safe.... personally be easier to do OPR sit back with ranged and get some shots on people.. don't need to be super good to do that....
@@karlcooper8547 Yea, I also made a guide I linked at the end of this video for how to OPR as a PVE player. Just by going around building bases and getting supplies for the PVPers, you can help your team a ton, get the rewards, and pretty much avoid all PVP in an OPR.
No, I explained it at the start. From track 3, and before lvl 50 only a chance on 29 n 39, with really good odds 50-100. Percentages are at start of vid. It's timestamped.

It used to be 3v3s but they nerfed rewards, now it's OPR. I haven't tested PVP island, but I assume it won't be that consistent. Races are pretty good too, especially if your faction is defending because you'll most likely win and get easy XP.
Yea, if you never did it before I'd say always try it first, you might like it, but some people have tried it and simply don't like it. It's the same with PVP players not wanting to PVE.
