This works great, but if you don't follow the strictly 30 minutes each time, it will not reset the error. I have a battery charger that will discharge batteries to a certain voltage. If you can connect to the battery, turn it on and discharge to 3.4 volts per cell that equals 3.4v x 4cells= 13.6volts. That equates to about 8 or 9% charge and creates the "Critical Low Battery" condition needed to start the reset without having to actually fly the Avata down to that level. I had five batteries to reset.... nice not to have to fly it out! I am good with soldering and modifying, so I used a standard charger that came with the Avata, opened it (four screws under the bottom label) and ran two wires out so I could connect to my discharging rig. Turn the battery on, start the discharging cycle and once completed it will be ready to start the reset process. Thanks for this video, super helpful!
So glad I found this I have been trying to figure this out right up to 10 mins ago. I thought it was an issue with the charging of the newly purchased integra goggles so seeing your video has put me on the right track … thanks
How accurate does this have to be with the 30min mark? Because I tried it and it didn‘t work.. When do I know that the battery is fully charged? Do all the 4 dots have to shine continuosly or should they blink? Thank‘s for your help.
@@ColRose Thank you so much. I will try that again. I think I didn‘t wait long enough because the 4 dots were blinking one after another. I thought it meant the battery to be full.
Charging and de-charging changes the temperature of the battery and so the accuracy of the voltage check, hence a 30-min wait to get the temperature down to an accepted level.
Actaully i have 4 batteries. The issues is with on the batter i used to update FW. Other batteries on 40% charge is fine. The battery which has issue is 90% now?

Thank you. Nice to have those soldering skills but I fear I would set the house alight. 😁
Very helpful and just what I needed to know to fix the error. Thanks!
@@elouiseeverett3986 Thank you. Pleased it helped you.

I'm pleased it has helped. Thanks.
Thank you years later
This did work
Great!
Thanks for sharing. I get this on my batteries too, but ignored it. I'll try to reset later.
Did it fly ok , after ignoring warning
@@isell7547 Yes, it flies great! Have not seen that error since I did that.
Worked great! Thank you!
that helped sir. tnx
Thank you I going to do this
Thanks man.

It has to be a minimum of 30mins. The battery is fully charged when all lights go out.

That's correct.

I had it on all 3 of my batteries. Now they are all fine.
Any idea WHY this gets triggered?
So am I supposed to leave the battery on sitting for 30 minutes?
Drain battery to less than 10%. Turn off and leave for at least 30 mins. Charge it. Then will be ok.
what happens if you just ignore it ?
Nothing really, It's just really annoying.
I got error again. I did this kept charging overnight. Is the timing of 30 min important cuz i get the error again
It can't be any less than 30min, but can be more. I had the error again on one battery. Just did the process again.
Thanks im having same issue but does not let me turn quad on ? Theres no way to depleted 😫😫 im using motion controller
That's strange. Can you turn it on at all, even with a full battery?
Thx
Ho, same error Here Try to fix
Ye
I have this 😢
This wouldn’t let me go into manual mode
I did manual suddenly i got balck screen and crashed
This is a pain I’ve had to do this also
Yes. I haven't found the reason yet.
