I see you’re upping your video production game, nice work! And fwiw; this video helped me pull the trigger on a used F2, great condition, great deal at $1300 with extra blades plus dado stack… boooya!!!
How did you remove the anti-kick back on the blade guard? I have the same saw (my first ever table saw) and I want to remain as safe as I possibly can but those things DIG into the wood. So I don’t use the guard for that reason.
It’s fairly easy to do actually. It’s been a while since I did it on mine, so hopefully I’m accurate enough so you can do it. Just look at where the anti-kickback pawls pivot behind the clear guard. I believe it is a Phillips screw that you can remove and “shimmy” the pawls out of there. Then, just put that screw back in to hold the clear guards in place and you’ve got no more digging marks to contend with! 🎉
@@dpreste I just got my saw last week and that's one of my big complaints - the pawls leave grooves in the wood. I contacted Laguna about adjusting them and they sent a pretty rude response that was basically "use them or don't". I'll probably remove the pawls as well.
Bro… that logo is pretty dope. And yeah that 36 capacity is amazing, compared to the old contracting saw. Great job and nice outfeed table with wheels - garage problems solved. Jajajaja. O yeah… you got to get that Harvey Compas Mitter Gauge, it’s legit the best for table saws. Trust me I know lol
Dust collection is a 8/10. I do like the suction at the blade. I dont know if there are any saws out there that would be a 10/10 for dust collection. I wish there wasnt a spec of dust.
Loved the bit about the HOA police!
Nice video! I've been looking at these for years now and decided this will be my next big purchase.
You wont regret it!

Nice job Chris!
Appreciate you 🙏🏽🙏🏽
What’s the music you used for the blade changing scene?
