I have had 1 summer with my 2022 195s. Totally made the right choice. I'm in Michigan, and I wouldn't venture too far into the great lakes with it, but it's perfect for all the inland lakes (which is what I frequent). And great lakes inlights.
I plan on ordering 2022 a sx195 in Black Cherry. The quality and bang for the buck Yamaha offers is hard to beat! Some manufacturers I’ve found in my search nickel and dime you for every little option. I do wish it was available with the warm interior like you have as I prefer it over the grey (cool).
I just got 2016 ar190 and I love mine. If I would upgrade I would get the new one, or if I had a good place to store it I would get a bigger one but I am happy with my ar190
Nice man! Just picked up a 2021 AR195 in sapphire blue a few months ago. Only was able to take it out once so far but loved it. 100% argee on your likes/dislikes. Have a set of the new thrust vectors ordered for mine as well. Would love to see a video on how you like the low speed steering once you get em' on. Looking forward to more of your content!
Hi Garrett quick question. How is the boat with 4 adults and 3 kids when it comes to wake boarding etc? No adult is over 5'10 and kids are two 9 year olds and a 12 year old. Does the engine have enough power? Most times it will be jut 2 adults and 2 kids. I think it will be fine but I need another opinion.
Glad you asked the will be fine for cruising but it won't get up to speed like you would think. It will struggle unfortunately pulling tunes with that many ppl. Also the space will be tight. The 25ft is the best bang for the money. If that's gonna be a normal amount of ppl. Don't get anything but the supercharged version in the 19.5 it will not do the job.
Just had 5 adults / 2 teens and my lab with me over Labor Day weekend. My 2021 AR-195 did a top speed of 43MPH with it fully loaded fuel and gear… we pulled the tube just fine. You will only go 15/18 MPH pulling regardless… but otherwise it’s plenty or room and power.
Man I want back and forth for months and months on which one to get between the Yamaha 195s and another boat that’s similar. I got put on a waiting list that would’ve guaranteed me one by June but bc of a couple factors I went with the other boat. I’ll be picking it up next week. But man I’m from Foley and we go out to Robinson Island/Pirates Cove, Fort McRae and other places all the time. Comment back if you’re ever interested in meeting up sometime. Love the boat. I hope I don’t regret not going with it too much haha
I see your gelcoat problem. You're washing it then rubbing it down. You're supposed to smack it up first, then flip it, THEN rub it down. Sweet boat!!!!
I think the boat is great. But no there are things I need that this boat does not provide in this part of Florida. I'm looking to back to a center console. If I lived on a lake this boat would be alot better.

I have an 18 AR195, absolutely love it, and agree with everything you said, TVs will make a HUGE difference with the steering, what size are the kickers you went with, and what amp are you powering them with?
Are those Bluetooth speakers Or hardwired in? What did you get for the steering? We just got a 2021 195s haven’t taken out in the water yet hopefully this weekend.

If you don't have the super charger it will be a paper weight. Yes I've had it over capacity its a dog until it gets going. I've switched from this boat back an outboard. But was a good boat to me.
I was wondering about weed, yeah not that weed :-) Have you had to use the access area to clear weed or other things that may have blocked the intake? Also, do you have much weed that you pass over in your area? - I'm further south in West Palm and there is quite a bit in both salt and fresh water.

It got cold here. But im sure you will have yours on by the time I get back out on the water.
I’m still waiting for my 2021 195S with the warm interior. I ordered it in September. Hopefully I hear from the dealer soon.

8" kickers 300watt JL amp plenty of power.

Ordered straight from the website my stereo guy did everything I showed up 2 days later. Everything was done and and done well.
