You know... the Funny Aspect is, that many stpd Mfs claim FL is a better DAW!!! Im Working with Reason since the Very First Version like 20 years ago or something!!! Ive tried FL🤣🤣& was amazed how Bad the Soundquality is or instability same goes for the entire overview in the Program its poorly arranged!! and many other things which i found silly in FL. Thats why I always will stick to Reason it is still the Best DAW

Using a sample that has arranged bpm lets say 90 bpm , i change the original project to 90 and it slows the tempo or something down , what can i do to match the bar lenth so when i change bpm its on beat and on tempo

Looking into reason because apparently it comes bundled with an interface I'm having a look at and it makes no sense to me after what I've read about reason online, people bashing it for being antiquated but it looks really straightforward, excellent tutorial
How the heck do I change the overall interface size? My eyes are going to fall out. I have a monitor with a QHD resolution. If I change the resolution of Windows or the monitor itself to FHD, Reason will change to FHD as well, but the problem is that all my other programs have to use FHD resolution. I have no problem using the QHD interface of other programs, and I can set the UI size within the program, but I can't find it in Reason. It hurts my eyes. Someone please help me. I'm fascinated by 'reason' and I'm just getting started, but all the text and pictures in 'reason' are so small that I feel like lava coming out of my eyes.
Would be great if Reason could do a video on preparing a track for Mastering, something I struggle with is getting output levels correct, if anyone knows of one please link me!
The further out we get from the switch to plug in the more annoyed I am. I want my doaw back! Reason has created cool sounds but done nothing to upgrade the dae. Daws like Ableton logic and Studio One have made light year jumps while reason just keeps putting out sounds. The sounds have been very good and some players have been nice but in 2023 reason has fallen way behind imo. Please update the daw or create some physical devices like maschine or akai. Really want to stay in the family but at this point it's hard to.
Awesome tutorial... I use Reason and have been on and off since version ONE !! But this video showed a pile of neat little tricks. My only issue is with YOU TUBE and why the hell i dont get notified when you upload Chris.. Im seeing this more and more from different channels i sub to. Is it the YOU TUBE you will do this and you will watch this as and when we see fit Algorithm basically controlling everything we do. QUALITY video though my friend.. Keep em coming..
I'm using reason to rebuild old korg triton songs via midi files with the triton VST... is there anyway to run multiple tracks with just one instance of the triton VST?
On and off user of Reason, just "off" enough that I wind up forgetting all the cool keystrokes and tools in the sometimes many months between boot-ups. This is an EXCELLENT refresher course!
These videos are awesome. I have one question, as a new user. How can I tell reason+ companion app to install the Devices in a Drive that is not C: ? It's my main drive where I keep system files and such, it's almost full, and I can't download all the devices I would have rightly access to as a subscriber, bcs I don't find a way to install said devices in my secondary drive, which is my ssd for games and other creative software like zbrush and such. I installed Reason in this secondary drive for the main reason, space. But now the devices install automatically in the main one and I don't know how to tell it to install them somewhere else... Somebody knows how to fix this?
Really good tutorial. One thing: it’s kind of a shame that not enough producers see the benefits in using Blocks Mode (B) to lay out their compositions. Once I figured out how to use it, it really streamlined my creative process - it helps to structure the bones of the tracks so that afterwards, all you have to worry about are the meat and muscle, if you will.
No.... 12 will not replace 10 but will be added separately onto your hard drive. You will retain 10 (you've paid for it after all) and can go back to it should you wish to at any time....I have 9,11 & 12 on my computer!
I had NO IDEA that there was this much cheating going on with making music. Don't get me wrong, you're talented at using the computer to do so, but there's like no real musicianship happening. Except with the guitar of course. But there's a million people out there just pushing computer buttons and plugging things into devices that do everything for you and you just put things here and there until you find something that sounds good. And with AI creating music now as well, everything is going to go completely to hell. There's no originality or uniqueness involved in creating music anymore. Makes me so freakin sad.

Realize this is a beginner tutorial. They’re just showing people how the program works because it’s much more complicated than any instrument you or any other person to ever have lived has ever played. He used three instruments out of the thousands available and he purposely chose the most beginner friendly because this isn’t a lesson on how to play the piano. It’s a lesson on how to use a beat program. Once you learn where everything is and how everything works Then you can learn to play keys and stuff stuff like … Even a skilled musician would need some sort of tutorial like this to understand how how to navigate the program Also, What exactly is your musical talent? Ever heard of music theory? You don’t just throw random stuff together until it sounds good. That’s like saying you just nail a whole bunch of boards together to make a house that’s not how it works maybe… Also this is one person… you think that’s how everyone does it? These programs are how all music is done unless it’s a band… It’s revolutionized the entire music industry before you couldn’t even make a song with multiple instruments because you can only play one instrument at a time These programs also allow people to start learning music with something as little as computer. They don’t need an expensive instrument they don’t need expensive lessons they don’t need to get five or six friends together and try to line up a schedule to make a song either… I feel like you’ve never made music before talking like this cause I don’t think you fully understand the technology and engineering that went into this This program took hundreds of computer engineers, working hand-in-hand with musicians to even make technology like this possible It’s not sad. It’s incredible that even someone with no knowledge can start and build Their skill set from nothing
Why are you screwing over your users? As a long time user of Reason, I am furious that you're making my copy of Reason 10 basically useless. I sometimes perform where internet access is patchy to non existent. Is this how you repay years of loyalty from your users?

I would assume it's to show what beginners already have in the DAW without needing to spending money on RE's and that Reason is a complete product upon purchase. RE's are just a bonus of more awesome things you can do in the DAW imo
