Now that you've notched the back seat, you should consider taking the seat to the upholsterer and getting the notched areas sealed up. It will not only make it look better, but prevent damage to the seat foam.
Exactly what I was thinking. Way cheaper than buying the delete and it'll make it look real clean.

@@jamesmccallion4526 I've been watching the goons since 2016 and as an og fan, i can tell you that the rebuilding quality has gone down significantly if you've been paying attention. The notched areas in the back seats leaving the foam completely exposed, and not only that but if you stayed up to date with the camaro ss build, you can tell that they rushed the absolute shit out of it. Paint bits started flaking off during the shakedown drive. They also sanded down the front and rear porsche bumpers so much that you could see their silhouettes through them in some videos.
I love seeing pops on camera. He’s not shy like he was at the start. I’m sure he’s having a blast working with two of his sons.
I love how comfortable Pops is around the camera now. He lets his great and playful personality shine through and we love it!!

Now you know where the boys get their silliness from. They are super fortunate that they get to spend this time with him. They most likely got the work ethics from him as well. There older brother is a hard worker , someone planted that seed in them.
Yeah pop's is the best!! You guys should do a special build just for him to replace that ford ranger or whatever he drives.... Don't tell him it's for him and then give it to him at the end of the build.
The reason the door gaps are so good is because V Tuned did the frame work and panel alignment and not hacks

As a huge Porsche enthusiast, I absolutely love what you guys have done with this car.
Regarding the tint, I’d say either tint all of it or none of it. It would look strange to leave the front tinted but the back not tinted in my opinion.
If you want to show off the cage, I would remove all tint.

Make a fortune in wedding car hire!
I say this everytime they groan about all the cars they have in house. IDK, grab a piece of real estate somewhere up in the hills and build a showroom - or heck build a showroom at the new goon shop... Place a little media stand at each car looping the youtube videos tracking the progress of each of the builds along with a blurb of the rebuild numbers and let people sit in the cars and snap photos. Also love the wedding vehicle idea too...
I was hesitant about this build because of time consumption but with your Pops and all the meals your mom brought in plus the BBQ of great looking steaks time turned this back into a fine car. Very impressive guys and a great job

The best thing to come from youtube is how too videos like these. Knowledge is power! Think how much money people save from watching these videos and fixing there own cars in these hard times. Think how much main dealers are robbing the average person just trying to get by in life. 👍💪

20% tint on the rear glass will look great against the carbon roof. Makes it flow so nice!

I actually used Safety Restore because of you guys. Super easy company to work with and it was awesome. Got my seatbelts Ferrari Red to match the red exterior

Just a suggestion, you might want to put some 3m clear bra material behind the fender vents. I think there will be a lot of tiny rocks flying up off the tires & hitting the upper fenders, mirrors & doors.

That looks awesome! That headlamp control unit with the broken cover, be sure to water proof it if thats staying like that. Cover that circuit board in silicone or something but don’t leave it as is. It’s looking awesome though! Great work

Been watching you guys from the start, at least five years now since before you built the first workshop. You've come such a long way! I used to own a couple of bodyshops back in the '80s and '90s restoring classics and repairing exotics, so as a professional I would do some things a little different, a bit more finesse, but man, with every build you are getting better and better!! I meant, really really good for self taught, I absolutely love this one. I expect to see great things in the future.
I love this build, I'd say get the seat delete for sure. If you keep the rear seat just clean up the notches you guys cut out so it blends in.
The Porsche looks fantastic. Y'all do wonderful work and the way you saved yourself money by thinking on your feet is awesome. I find I have to do the same thing when it comes to my 01 Pontiac Firebird. Keep up the good work!!!

Epic build !!!not a must but you cud Use some isopropyl alcohol/paint thinner , to wipe off the excess over spray for the blue dash line on the steering wheel side ,,
Do a light tint like 15% to 20% tint that way it still looks good and you can still see the roll cage.
Excellent recommendation - definitely the best way to go.
They also should consider getting the rear seat delete kit and keeping the original back seat. If they sell it, it will dramatically increase the value to have original parts that can be put back in with little effort. Too bad they already cut into the original.

I would keep it tinted as it will throw off the lines because of the roof and hood. People can see the cage from the front if they want to see it. The car is coming together amazingly and can`t wait to see you guys rip it.

Although they have said it has to be protected, once govt gets involved there will be so many rules and regs put into place in the name of "community harmony" it will ruin Garrets vision completely, there will be no more "Freedom" at the factory.

@@stevenmcinnis8105 It'll end up being so much more than that; noise AND light regulations, no more spontaneous events outside of permitted hours, larger police presence (no more quick trips between facilities), large event permits will have to take residents opinions into account before permission will be granted, security will have to be increased massively at every building/plot due to the extra crime that will inevitably creep in. It would be cheaper to build from new somewhere else on a massive property than try to sustain a dying track; its happened a thousand times.

Only critique I have is when you cut the holes in the seats for the rollcage bars, you should have left enough leather to roll and tuck so it looks factory. Exposed matting isn't factory.

I 5:43 I think you guys should have added some sound deadening to that roof before Installing the headliner! It will make a huge difference with rain and sleeting when driving while raining! If not, you won’t be able to hear each other or the radio even!

Nice car, it's my favorite. The miami blue really pop's. The yellow masking tape look nice on the top... yellow stripes (the same color as masking tape) can be a nice touch with that miami blue.

Doing that w/the turbo models even a genuine 2RS isn't going to happen, they red line at 7k not 9k. What color is your GT3RS?

Keep all the windows tinted except for the windshield. Tinted glass with that Miami Blue is fire!

Hey guys, love how the 911 GT2 RS is coming along.
Small suggestion next time you need to modify things like the back seat. You could have pulled the upholstery back, cut the plastic or hard board to fit and then roll the upholstery around the cut to make it look OEM. Just a suggestion guys.

Great build, gentlemen. One suggestion is to get some mesh behind those front fender vents or you'll have rock chips everywhere and the possibility of a busted windshield. As creative as you are, fab them yourselves. BTW, search for the wide body GTM that is popping up on RUclips. I love the Camaro, my first and second new cars, shrink the back bumper and install it, though. Needs a little pop of bling on the tail.
