Camera work bad ass as usual! Hey Russell.. what’s up?? good video! Love that y’all stepped up your cutlery game.. cool knife..the snow made that perfect packing sound.. also cool.. and Ray.. the ultimate in cool..have a cool weekend..❤️☮️
My husband saw 3 sets of 2 deers each, while out walking with our dog, right before sundown, today. We live in Middle Tennessee America, which seems to have an abundance of deer.
Water Winter Wonderland, awesome drone footage Russell. Thanks for sharing. Lol,we were at deer camp, got the generator ready to start ,first pull, pulled the rope out of the recoil starter, lol. I actually thought about you!
The battery charger in those inverters are about 80 to 85 percent efficient. So to charge at 2900 watts it would need to be pulling about 3400w. Maybe even more. So the generator is running at the ragged edge of it's continuous rating on propane. Try backing it down to to around 2000w. My guess is the surging will stop.
@@RaspberryRockOffGridCabin Oh thank YOU! I love your videos and am always excited to see a new one is up. I have to say though I have been a bit worried if you should be lifting heavy things like you do? With your afib?
Here in Australia we have had a shortage of any lettuce. It got that way that if you were desperate for lettuce you had to pay $12 for a head. Bags of lettuce mix were $7 at the cheapest. We have had heaps of flooding here in the Eastern States (still do actually with peak floods expected this evening). That has caused the loss of plenty of market vegetable gardens, small and huge. Places like Subway, Maccas and KFC had substituted finely shedded cabbage, and it was gross. I will agree that Iceberg is my favourite too.
On your generator watch for coolant leaks, Westinghouse is notorious for leaking. Also do not let it run out of fuel when using it it creates air traps in the fuel line and makes it a bear to get started unless you get all the air out of the lines. They also lose residual magnetism every now and then usually when left plugged to a load when the generator is off. That can be solved by adding a fresh battery to it.
Winter at the cabin drone and time lapse shots are dreamy! If/when you change your solar setup, would you ever put the panels at ground level like the many installations you have done for others? Perhaps you have talked about it before and I missed it but I would think it a bit safer in winter clearing them from the ground. Pea soup..
All the Ladies say HEY RAY!!❤ Your in good hands with a friend like him Russell. More beautiful video drone work. Nice to see the Wizard of the North and his blushing bride MaryKay! C u tonight 🎉

Junebug has the same problem as most. The big C messed us all up. Isolation for long periods of time. We crave those moments to interact with others. good or bad.
I really enjoyed the drone footage, so magical. Glad you’re getting in and out okay now, hope your new generator is going to work well for you and can keep you putting out your videos and of course to play your games too, I believe it was to heavy and you should not be lifting that much after your illness! I'm glad you got the new generator to the cabin just in time for the snow. Will you eventually store the new generator in the generator shed you made last year?
Equipment used to harvest raw iceberg lettuce used in the packaged salads was found to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, according to the company. This is the second Listeria-related recall for Dole Fresh Vegetables, a business unit of the Dole Food Co. Oct. 2022 This may be your lettuce issues! Your welcome lol have a great day!✌🏽
What does the manual say for safe operating distance from soffit vents, windows, doors (that may draw outside air to a fireplace or stove) to avoid carbon monoxide poisoning? Russell, you should trade in that Kawasaki atv and get a side x side, it'll be just if not more useful for you but it will then allow your gal to have a seat when you pick her up. I think she and you would really like it. Another thing about those side x side units is they have a flat bed in the back and some will even act like a dump truck and dump whatever for you. There would be no more bungee cording things onto the back of the atv. Have you ever thought of having like 30 yds of dirt delivered to your parking area, then have someone with a bobcat to haul it in and fill those water holes on your trail, i wouldn't want to go thru that all the time. Oh yea the drone footage is really cool of that great piece of land your around. Take Care Brother
Beutiful, but looks cold, brrr. I both like and do`nt like the winter. The snow is cleansing the earth, and it went so quiet and all looks clean. I do not like the cold, but I could not live en a country without four seasons, some dilemma yes. Lovely to watch your place from above. 👍👍💥💥 Oh, will you try to fix your dock when the lake is frozen? Is`nt easier to use floating barrels? I have seen many use those and then they do it in the summertime. I think they never will be rutten or anything🤣 because they use plasticbarrels. Looks so much easier then to use wood, a TIP👍👍😎
Cabbage or broccoli leaves are also a good substitute for lettuce. It amazes me how much stuff Ray is able to fit in that van of his, I mean he got the whole kitchen in there no problem. It would be a bugger if there was'nt enough room for the last piece. Very much enjoyed the video. Oh, a question? has your jetty sunk where you walk on to it? Sure looks like it. Cheers

The surges in your Generator may not be because of your Inverter. When we lose power we simply flip a switch in the basement because the Generator is wired directly into the house but it also makes that noise you described at times. I just assumed it was because of the differences in the power draw? The more power you draw the harder the Generator must work. Good luck.
