China is the simpler more natural and elegant one with a bit of traditional influence so the cute or "kawaii" outfit wouldn't do at all.

I just wanted to say that a lot of common fashion in Japan are very minimalistic. For example a lot of women wear a black and white striped shirt with loose tan pants. I’m half japanese and whenever I visit Japan i see that kind of fashion. I have only ever seen a hand full of people wear “kawaii” outfits. Btw I would have loved to translate what you said but it was hard because of your thick accent (not in a offensive way at all).

month's late, but... I got the word Subarashi at the beginning. It means "Great!!" or Amazing. The words after that were mingled together so it was hard to tell them apart. Maybe it's something like "Whaa! Amazing! something-something my friends has arrived"

But I need to say that is not a standard style, photos that you found represent old traditions and old culture. You can’t find a girls like this on the streets now and then. I came into this expecting Australia's fashion to be a caricature, but that outfit is actually definitely something you'd see in summer!! Although I do have to say, a lot of Australia isn't warm! Where I live in the state of Victoria, it's quite cold and in my town it snows most years, and we have quite a short summer where those sort of outfits would be ok. And my nearest beach is several hours away! Not everyone lives in Sydney or the Gold Coast ^w^

Yes but areas like the coast of Queensland and the up the top of the NT are quite tropical areas that have had quite a few cyclones/hurricanes and floods over the years. Almost all the population lives along the coast and there are not too many areas in the outback and the land has been returned to the traditional owners- the aboriginal people. (Lol here is some information nobody asked for- don’t mind me I have a test in two days, I’ve hardly prepared and this is all just general knowledge.

month's late, but... I got the word Subarashi at the beginning. It means "Great!!" or Amazing. The words after that were mingled together so it was hard to tell them apart.

I came into this expecting Australia's fashion to be a caricature, but that outfit is actually definitely something you'd see in summer!! Although I do have to say, a lot of Australia isn't warm! Where I live in the state of Victoria, it's quite cold and in my town it snows most years, and we have quite a short summer where those sort of outfits would be ok. And my nearest beach is several hours away! Not everyone lives in Sydney or the Gold Coast ^w^

Yes but areas like the coast of Queensland and the up the top of the NT are quite tropical areas that have had quite a few cyclones/hurricanes and floods over the years.
